Believe it was launched. I just tried to go through the process of signing up XO, there is a rebate for subsequent billing.

Somehow XO plan don't seems too attractive though. :o

surely better than the crappy combo plans?

Is this what is true about iPhone 11 Pro

- Heavier and thicker in the body
- CPU improvement not significant in real life
- Removed 3D touch
- Better camera but relatively inferior to Android flagships
- More camera protrusion means coupled with cases will be even thicker to the already thicker body
- Similar screen quality as XS
- Better battery life than XS
- All else remains similar

I am a bit skeptical about the battery life improvement. Every generation claims 2-4 hours of improvement since iphone 4, by now my iPhone XS should last 2 days per charge but it didn’t. Still dies in less than a day.
removed 3D touch is the best thing ever.

Yes to accomodate for the bigger battery and heat dissipation (reverse wireless charging which was scrapped last min)
- CPU improvement not significant in real life
Simple whatsapp and email wont see difference. Gaming, AR and camera processing will see gains.
- Removed 3D touch
Yes replaced with Haptic Touch as seen in iOS 13 Beta
- Better camera but relatively inferior to Android flagships
No it's not. Unless you are referring to the gimmicky zoom.
- More camera protrusion means coupled with cases will be even thicker to the already thicker body
The bulk this on the iPhone 11 is much better than the XS since the lenses now are built from under the frosted glass
- Similar screen quality as XS
Its better than XS for sure
- Better battery life than XS
Yes definitely
- All else remains similar
Face ID has wider angle and faster.

Few things to touch on here.

You cannot tell how significantly faster the processors are because 1. Your phone is already very fast enough. 2. Unless you’re doing a specific real time image processing.

iPhone camera will always be the superior one over Android. You’re talking about inferior post-process photos. Android uses a lot of AI under Google’s API to articulacy boost your photos. They are not organic.

For battery life, since you are in Singapore, the battery life will always be worse than those in the US. This has to do with the mobile data power efficiency. For some reason US telco has a more power efficient 4G than Singapore’s 4G. Technically US uses LTE which is slightly different from Singapore’a 4G. The in-depth details are very technical.

I signed up xo78 at the roadshow previously. 18 dollar bill rebate. Got iPhone Xs 256gb for 38 dollars I think. Sold it for about 1.3k. effectively paying 10 dollars per month for 50gb data (that was the offer back then). Free HBO go for 24 months too

Wow, didn't know even 4G has power efficiency at the base station level.

Like that 5G can't last beyond 12hours liao.

Still deciding between Space Grey and Midnight Green. :s22:

Yeah me too. most review i've seen for ppl who like MG say it looks much better in person than photos...i like that it seems to be a very dark subtle green...not truly in your face military green :s13:

Agree with you too — more variety v Pro series. If I am purely to choose among the iPhone 11 range, I will def go with the Red. In terms of the Pro series actually the green is quite subtle. From the first impression video (from first glance), colour looks quite similar to Space Grey. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks but that’s my initial thoughts.

The color range for the pro and pro max series is really boring unlike the 11. Sigh. But I'm not surprised many will get the green since it's a new color. :)

The CIS XO plans was open to select customers only but they are now looking to extend it to all customers finally. Not sure if free caller iD and roaming is included for XO plans or not.
