but the constant switching between 4G and 5G is going to jiak battery doesn't it?

In the early stages of 5G, there may be increased battery usage due to switching between signals as you move in and out of 5G service areas.

i rather they move on to 6G or something else.. need to install so many base stations in order to have the coverage. sure it is 1000x better. but can expect plenty of dead zones as well.

i don't know how they agree to such specs in the first place.

I think midnight green or space grey will be popular for this year cos the 3 camera doesn’t look too obvious. On gold and silver it’s too glaring to have 3 holes.

If apple can launch midnight green why don’t they launch a royal blue. Might be good looking too

Yes Face ID is indeed faster in iOS 13 but it does not improved on multi angle.

What does the U1 chip do exactly?

U1 chip is a new chip which uses the Ultra Wideband technology to get more precise location to another U1 equipped devices.

For example, the current location in your phone tell you which block you are at but with U1, it can tell you which block and which unit you are in.

Apple suppose to announce the new location tag during the keynote but they did not.

I’m not talking about speed. I’m talking about the multi angle

I remembered I unlocked using Face ID while lying sideways on my bed. Multi angle seemed more of the iOS 13 than the physical hardware.

Was on both 13.0 and 13.1 beta right up to before beta 3. Now back at GM. I’m able to unlock at even more angles than I could with iOS 12.X. That’s why i believe is the OS that improved Face ID.

Unless the 2019 iPhone can unlock upside down. I cannot do that.

Thanks. I also read earlier that it will change how we share files using Airdrop? Now we can point to the device to locate the sender? Can share more info on this? Thanks!
