pro max user here.

did any of you guys experienced connectivity issues once in awhile?

The internet wouldn’t load even though it shows full bars, happened on either wifi/4G data, toggling either one didn’t help at all. I had to toggle the flight mode on and off in order to get it work again.

Also I noticed my old iPhone 6P seemed like it had better data signal than my Pro max.

Are you on Singtel?
I'm also experiencing the same issue, even on my previous device.

I'm on starhub now, been using since launch day, no problem on Wi-Fi and 4G. ;)

Yes I’m on singtel, didn’t happen that often enough to a return the phone yet.

doubt it’s telco issue here, as I have no problem at all on iPhone 6P.
Hope it gets resolved via iOS 13.1.

My S.O. also face the same issue with Singtel on iPhone XR.. Happens when travelling, must be handover problems between cell towers. Therefore must be Stinktel issue.:D

Hi guyz,

I'm currently on the note 9, but I'm keen on changing to the iphone 11. I know it's a significant downgrade. However, I'm looking for a simpler ecosystem.

I don't really use any functions of the note 9. The only reason why I got it was because of the battery life.

Any thoughts?

Yes. I’m on SingTel. Wifi no issue but occasionally 4G connectivity issues. Hope it’s not the phone problem

happened to me on my XS Max, connectivity showing full bar, 4G but browser or any apps requiring data/internet doesn't work at all.

happens randomly, toggling airplane mode on/off doesn't help as well, just gotta wait till it "recovers"

i know it's still early days but my Pro Max is the first phone that from the time i went to bed and wake up, it's still at 100% even if it's new. all my previous phones at least got % drop.

Same here. Was at 76% when I went to sleep, was 76% when I woke up 7 hours later.

On iPhone XS Max also have this issue so I think it might be an iOS issue. Been having the connectivity issue at around the same places everyday since iOS 12. The Bukit Panjang and Hillview area data always died on me. It’s so annoying. Was hoping it get fix in iOS 13 but didn’t. Shall wait for 13.1 n try.

There are some places in sg where I realised the reception may show full bars but the phone just doesnt have any internet connectivity. E.g. Jurong east mrt in the evening on Starhub.

iPhone wifi signal is also quite weak, in my room with door closed I cannot connect via wifi. But my Android phones can do it and the speed is freaking fast �
