Hi all. Some questions regarding Apple Pay. Is there anyway to Open up Apple Pay for tapping on public transport without having to double press the power button? I’ve tried opening it from the Assistive touch but still need to double press to pay.

Express Travel Card feature doesn’t work in SG yet. TransitLink/LTA may have to work with Apple to tweak the reader to enable the feature.

With the feature enabled, then no need to double click the power button to activate Apple Pay for transport.

They should really do this... wonder what’s stopping them

Thanks for the info. Kinda annoying to double pressing the power button. I'll just stick to Samsung Pay for now for the convenience and reward points :s13:

But it’s much faster and reliable with Apple Pay I must say

The double tapping is somewhat inconvenient. But do note that anything too convenient is also a security gap. For example, someone should not be standing near you trying to tap at your phone, and you "paying" him/her without your permission.

Lol The number of times I’ve seen Samsung Pay users getting stuck at the gantry is too often. I’ll rather my double tap power button to do it and not some hacks method to do it

Previously used Apply Pay for transport and now Samsung Pay for it due to rewards points also. Honestly speaking I’ve had more success rates tapping my Note10+ than my Apple Watch (probably smaller area). I rarely have any ‘being stuck at gantry’ for Samsung Pay, though sometimes take a few seconds to detect it.

Sometimes or all the times lol
Samsung Pay is always a second or two delay for me while Apple Pay is instant.

Are the stocks locally affected by the pandemic?

Global supply for iPhone is impacted, not just locally. In fact with the lockdown in China starting late Jan, it has badly impacted the number of mobile phones being produced, not just iPhone.

Just received the cables. For $3.90 I feel it's good value for money. Can finally not rely on wireless charger so much now.

My 3 month old iphone 11 maximum capacity drop to 98%. While my 3 year old iPhone 8 is still at 96%. Why does the maximum capacity drop so fast for the new phones. Understand that it is inevitable for it to drop by it’s just too fast. My friend’s iphone 11 still at 100% at 4.5 months. But he doesnt charge to full always.

Got my 11PM during launch week.

It's at 95% now. Just enjoy the phone, try not to think too much about the battery health. :s13:

My iPhone XR bought new in December 2018 still 100% maximum capacity. I didn't particularly took care of it. Always charge it before 50% battery use and I use any kind of charging method from 3rd party cables, wireless charging and also fast charging. Honestly I think its because I don't game on the phone hence the battery is kept pretty cool most of the time.
