The photos on that website are lousy, seriously. I don't know why one would show off such bad photos to sell the photography feature of the phone.

Because 90% of iPhone’s user base can barely take photos better than those featured on the website. To me they’re realistic travel photos.

He deliberately test the iPhone PM in situations that shows off the better sensor.

I think this is better than photographers who refused to take in less than optimal condition to maintain their reputation or “work quality” and end up showing photos only in ideal or close to ideal situations

Am using 11 pro max, was wondering if its really worth changing to 12 pro max, did a comparision on the battery, seems 11 pro max have better battery then 12 pro max,
But love the blue and the camera of 12 pro max (night mode)

according to this battery test review, iphone 12 pro max has the longest battery life, even longer than 11pro max. I was gladly wrong too. longer by about 18 minutes.

i may be getting the pacific blue iphone 12 pro max with 512GB, replacing my iphone8+, and using my iphone11 pro max as my business phone.

i carry 2 phones with me, one personal, one for business.

If you shoot a lot of videos, then you’ll appreciate the 2.5x tele lens as well as the Bette enlightenment videography. Not forgetting you’ll be getting the only camera in the world that shoot 4K Dolby Vision Live and edit on the fly.

If you shoot video at 4K Dolby Vision Live , can you playback the video on a standard 4k tv or need the tv to have support for Dolby Vision than can playback to see the recorded video ?

As long as your 4K TV support HDR10, it will play back DV video.

The 12 pro max is really massive man. I thought the XS max already kinda big, not too big that cannot use one hand, can get small when use two hands. This one use with one hand is really pushing it, so heavy that it can drop easily with one hand use. Use with two hands is alright. Proportions remind me of a heavier version of 8 plus with a larger screen. Now updating software and iCloud. Will report more later. :s13:

How can it be massive?? It is almost the same size as 8 plus. Just that the screen is now much bigger......

Finally after a few hrs migrating data from my XS Max to 11 Pro Max, and the data from 11 Pro Max to 12 Pro Max, and re-pairing back my Apple Watch, it's up and running!

How long does it take to migrate from your 11 pro max to your 12 pro max?

iTunes Backup to Computer then restore to new phone is the quickest method.
Phone to Phone transfer sibeh slow, even though both phones is within 3m from my router

Here’s my first impressions.

Not much different from my XS Max except for the cameras plus it is visibly faster. :s13:

Most important thing is that I will be happier in next 21 months. :s13:

Don’t think it is as big as what all the reviewers are saying. Just slightly bigger than the 6-8 plus series and smaller than most android phones. If you are used to those, this size would also be comfortable to hold and use.

I placed my huawei mate 20x phone on top of the iphone 12 pro max box.

You do not need to be close to the router using phone to phone transfer.
It connected to each other via bluetooth and their WiFi directly. Not thru your router. :s13:

The transfer time depends on how much data you have to bring over to new phone, i did a cleanup before transferring, about 50gb took 25mins.
