ya lor...that's the main reason...cause read that exynos damn loya & sugs from the forums...so no point diving into it heads on.

i only want note 20 for the design, love the design la...but not the functionality lol

everything about the iPhone is fine, less the notch lol.
using 3 years or so iPhone X but still don't like the notch leh..so was considering jumping ship to a Samsung Note lol

hannor....thats the main reason why i didn't go for Samsung Note...
i know can import the snap dragon samsung note 20...but then pay so much & no warranty cannot la..for me at least

Never ever ever buy an Exynos phone.

I just realise my current phone uses less than 64gb storage in total as I normally upload my media in google photos. Will getting an iPhone 12 64gb be enough in terms to slower speed in time?

Same same. But can't justify paying so much for last year's phone.. rather something this generation

Oh no probably i will hold my horses first and not rush in to buy when pre order opens up on 6 Nov.. luckily they launch the 12 and 12 pro first so that we can take a closely look at the overall product...

Hopefully all these is just a first batch thing.. as with everything else.

Hope it'll iron out soon

My battery has settled, fwiw

On a regular weekday in the office, battery will be down to maybe 70ish percent after lunch. Quick 30m top-up with a fast charger gets it back up to last the rest of the day
What's your typical usage like? Quite sad that in this time and age, still gotta charge a phone mid-day (assuming not gaming or binge watching videos).

Heavy surfing, Reddit, occasional YT, social media crap, no gaming.

tbh it is disappointing, coming from Android phones with giant 4000mAh batteries. It’s a phone with a 2815mAh battery which is a massive drop so you just have to adjust your expectations accordingly. No matter what kind of magic iOS has there’s no way you’re getting full-day battery life out of a sub-3000mAh battery with moderate usage patterns.

The 11p and 11pm got this problem of microscratches anot ah
More or less will still have a bit, my ip 11 pro max silver even inside spigen ultra hybrid case since Day 1 also got micro hairline scratch along the speakers and lighting port there.

But the good thing for silver is that it can be remove by using metal polishes as there is no PVC coating on silver variant. Now my ip11 pro max, bing bing and no more scratches, as good as brand new, see already very shiok!

That why until today I still cannot decide to go with silver, graphite or pacific blue for ip12 pro max. Graphite and Pacific blue both very nice, but once kena scratches that it, cannot polish due to PVC coating and the gold too 土豪.

Silver more like white this time round based on reviews as compare to last year ip11 pro max silver, silver is very classy and can polish up when selling next time. Still now undecided...sigh....first world problem.

If it's an android phone, such problems no longer a problem

Wondering if in future our 5G UWB mmWave is the same as USA iphone 12 series. Not sure have our 3 telco publish the 5G mmWave bands

MKBHD speed test on Verizon 5G UWB mmWave, getting 1982Mbps

Our A2407 and A2411 models lack of 5G mmWave bands - n260 (39 GHz) and n261 (28 GHz) and 4G band - 71 (600 MHz) compare to USA variants, the rest is the same

Not sure if the info is correct.
Singapore 5G NSA / SA - n1 (2100 MHz) and n78 (TD 3500 aka 3.5GHz)
Singapore 5G mmWave - n258 (26 GHz) and n261 (28 GHz) (?????)

Yup coz Google and Samsung never use stainless steel on their flagship, all aluminum frame so totally not an issue at all.

60+%. Battery life isn’t an issue for me. Once I get home I have chargers everywhere in case of an emergency. I have yet to really get back into iOS gaming so I haven’t really tested the battery in that use case though.

The real test is whether the battery can last for a full day without a charge, and i honestly don’t think the 12/p can pass.
