yea bro,for 5% is worth a try..thats alot of cashback

I highly doubt the cash back applies to new iPhones. This cash back is actually from a third party, not Apple itself. If you look at other cash back portals, there are still a lot of exclusions. I think it is probably a mistake made by ShopBack.

Nevertheless, worth a try. I ordered through ShopBack but I’m not expecting any miracles.

Probably a bug on their end.

I guess we’ll find out 90 days time.

Try my luck as well, cancelled my yesterday night 13/11 delivery order for the iPhone 12 Pro Max 256GB Pacific blue, just re-order via Shopback app to try the 5%, collect at Jewel on 13/11 afternoon.

Casing and AW6 too bad already prepare to ship so just let it be, arriving on 13/11/2020.

Surprisingly the all colours still ready available for pick up, like alot of stock for our 3 Apple Store

Already delayed 2 months from the usual yearly Sep release due to Covid, whereas Samsung still did release their N20U & ZF2 flagships on time. Apple don't wanna lose out on market share too.

Xmas is near. Definitely Apple have and already did ramp up the production figures to cater for the known large influx of Apple fans.

Apple iPhones has the largest casing support from different brands. Look at Z Fold2. Released on 18 Sep, nearly 2 months already yet very few casing choices. No brands wanna mass produce casing for it as they don't have confidence that orders received > production cost.

Examples are caudabe, catalyst, nomad. They don't suport Samsung Note20U, ZF2, let alone Pixel and Huawei, etc.

iPhone is a big thing. So its no surprising that the supply this year has over-ridden the demand.

How’s the 5G signal in Singapore? Any buddies on 5G plan already? :o

From the chart and link above, imo, I'd wait until Mar 2021 whereby the telcos have a bigger substantial island wide 5G network coverage, then I'll subscribe to it.

Meanwhile, I'll tweak my phone network settings to 4G only. Else it'll consume battery trying to search for 5G network when I haven't even subscribe.

Actually, by Mar 2021, 5G network will be extended to most heartlands. If subscribe in Mar 2021, the $50 cost savings right now is the same as subscribing to 5G network right now and get a discount on SingTel handset. So for me, to save hassle of having to subscribe in the future, I signed up now.

Payette Forward has a very good point. If you are buying IP12 just for 5G its a waste of $. Personally i’m not intending to trade in my 11 Pro Max esp with reports of worse off battery life.

Not unexpected cos 12 Pro Max has bigger screen yet a smaller battery thanks to magsafe. Kinda dumb IMO. Magsafe belongs on macbook not iphone.

Don’t need to be excited. Definitely won’t get the 5% cashback for the new 12 series
