Wonder why the banking apps cause the phone to behave like this.

Deleted every banking app - UOB, OCBC, DBS, Citibank. Think all give heat problems except citibank. Location service was deny and scan local network was deny. Heat and battery drop afew % just by a few mins of usage. (As though playing heavy game like genshin)

Standard chartered and Citibank no heating problem. Only POSB. I can’t even check my balance and do simple paynow. I kena suan by my colleague, said I upgraded to iPhone 12 Pro Max can’t even use paynow. Fk up. Lol.

2 big issue after using iphone 12Pro a week..

1) accidental camera launch
put phone in pocket but camera always launch and also auto take lotsa photos..and drain batt and phone become hot also..knn..

how to turn off the camera button or left swipe to turn on camera during lock screen?

2) camera view finder is misleading
camera view finder show full screen..but when photo is taken, left hand 20% is cropped! I lost a few details of photos becos of this...

it shouldnt show full screen when it's not taking full screen...crap!

Anyone here tend to wipe their camera lens from time to time? I see sometimes got fingerprint on the lens itself, I want my photos to turn out nice.

Btw, the night photos captured on this iPhone pro is ******* amazing

I clean my phones after every use and that includes the camera lenses especially. I’m a little OCD when it comes to this but it’s to ensure they’re in tip top condition when I sell them off in future.

U better disable raise to wake or tap to wake. Maybe your brother keep touching the screen while in your pockets. Tell your brother dun get hard so frequently and will reduced the frequency of accidentally taking photos.

Anyone faced the ghost notification on Mail app. After I log in my iCloud acc on my iPad Air 4, both iPad and iPhone 12PM shows 1 for unread email under iCloud email acc. Even though there is no email.

I’ve read online did everything possible and still not feasible. Then I found that ppl in the abv thread faced the same prob too.

Update: Apple support on the phone told me that this has been reported and rectification will be done via a SW update.

Second this. I gotten pro max just for bigger screen and battery but of course, u lose 1 hand usage capability as the device is huge

Yep I did but the casing doesn’t cover that area.. I put it inside my pocket all the times.. even if wear and tear like abit too fast right..

Just curious.. what casing do you use? Maybe paint chip cuz you constantly put on and remove the case?

good workaround for my prob 1:
ok, tap to wake disabled...I hope this will solve the issue..

for prob 2, I googled to turn off full screen background for camera..and it work.

Given apple's support for 802.11ax is limited to 80MHz frequency width instead of the 160MHz max... I am debating if it makes sense to jump on to the AX bandwagon.

I get about 660Mbps on ip12 speedtest on 802.11ac. Ax should be about the same no?

last year only got one apple ax, now got 3 with a 4th soon. unfortunately all apple. so doesn't make use of HE160.. so does 802.11ax support even matter?

COOL! what ap? AX88? I may get a tuf-ax3000 to test.. cos it's dirt cheap now.
i get 940Mbps on my wired ethernet.... so you are almost near wire speed on 1Gbps connection already....
