Just tried using the auto enhance option after taking a photo, and my photo look much better. Anyone knows any cons of doing so? :s11:

Anyone using automatic dark mode and app stop loading occasionally when you try to launch it ?

Have to restart the phone for the app to work again.
For eg: myCPF app and I can’t launch the app setting page when I try to open it from Apple setting

You tried and it enhance the photo. Do you like the outcome? If yes then there is no cons right?

Your storage (both physical and iCloud) will double as it will create a “fullrender image”.

This is an unknown fact but this is how Apple does the non destructive photo edits. But not a huge price to pay for this. I am happy with this.

yea looks about right.
I think they should be offering the VAS to non SIM only plans soon. When the “trial” ends.

So after 3 months how much would they be charging?
15$ a month? :s22:

Really?! Any source for this? I thought it is just applying certain transformations on the original.

The moment any adjustment is made (cropping, edits...), 2 additional files will be created.
1. Adjustment.plist
2. Fullrender.jpg

The first is very small, maybe around 4kb. The second is about the same size as the original

If you have live photo turned on, 1 more will be created, ie Fullrender.mov

I found out after my iCloud kept increasing even though I deleted many photos. Reason being as I was deleting, I was also editing the rest, which doubled in size

Before that, I thought that Apple was just applying an adjustment layer which can’t be a huge size. Boy was I wrong.

I have a question for anyone who has ever physically gone to an Apple store and gotten his/her iPhone replaced because of an issue - do you have to unbox the replacement set in-store or can you just collect and go? Thanks.

No need to unbox. They have a no question asked return policy, if it is within the return date.

For me, storage was never an issue.

Thanks. But I meant if your phone has an issue, and the return date has passed but your phone is still under warranty, and they decide to replace your faulty phone with a replacement set at the Apple store. Will you have to unbox the replacement unit?
