It’s different, as told by the technician. I also had the same thought as you; to do a “erase all content and settings”. But he clarified that the process is not merely a phone reset but to wipe out the entire software and reinstall.

Yes you can do that yourself, at home, by downloading the iOS ipsw file and:
- Hold the Shift key on Windows or Alt key on Mac, and click the “Restore iPhone” button
- Browse and choose ipsw file when you see the prompt

Hi all,

I've been getting a lot of robocalls from UK (+44) via Viber. Are there any good spam block apps in ios store that works well with ip12p?

Any recommendations or suggestions on how to go about blocking them?

Shouldn't you try to block via Viber or uninstall it?

Try if ScamShield helps. https://mustsharenews.com/app-scam-calls-scamshield/?utm_source=telegram

Thanks for the reply!

Most of my spam calls from viber are from +44 113 xxx xxxx (UK based) so i supposed scam shield can't help?

I needed viber for communicating with overseas office, tried to block but it seems that i need to add the number into my contact list first before i can block it....which i find troublesome (adding tonnes of strange numbers into contact list just to block sounds :s22:)

Tried to use wideprotect spam call blocker before on my iphone SE2020 and it was working fine-until i switched over to iphone 12 pro. The blocking options on Settings>Phone>Block just disappears for some unknown reason...

Anyone experienced when restarting iPhone, or when iPhone is booted up, the Apple logo will come on very fast and then go away (like a flicker) and then the logo will appear again and stay there for a short while and u see your Lock Screen. Wonder what’s with that short appearance of Apple logo at the initial startup
