Anyone knows what resale prices for new sealed units are like around 1-2 months after release?

Last time I got my Samsung note 9, retail price 1.4k but managed to get new telco set on Carousell for $950. Wonder if iPhone value holds steady and higher for the initial period.

Actually that’s the plus point. You can charge while using it unlikely normal wireless chargers

yeah, when playing game it will also not obstruct the side where your hands are holding it. Something i like about it while still can do 15w charging. This plus point make me snap up 1 today at apple store lol

From a quick look, US model iPhone 12 has all the cellular bands that the SG models have, plus 3 5G bands (n71, n260, n261) and 3 4G bands (14, 29, 71).

Worth to import US set for future proofing?

Logically will not make much difference. But for mmWave, still unclear which band we are going to use in SG. 4G bands unlikely to be used here.

2 months later mean ard jan to feb period, I won’t think the phone will drop a lot to be honest. You want to wait till it drop 200 or more, 2nd half of next yr. Example 11 pro max, retail 17xx in Aug, outside are selling 12xx.

looks a little too sharp to me... haven’t seen any real pacific blue sets yet... wonder if the colour is as nice as what we expect

i feel the midnight green from last year is still slightly better

The edges on those phones looking super crisp.

mmWave will be exclusive to US. I doubt Apple will open up to any country until the next iPhone.

One question ah.. if they really remove the lightning port in next year’s iphone , does it mean that we cannot itunes backup to PC any more using future iphones?

I do not want to get such a big icloud storage

You can do it over WiFi but sooner or later, everything will be cloud.

iTunes is not only being used to do backups but also restoring or updating of ios, so probably there would be another way to connect devices to iTunes.
