Another question, why buy the iphone from apple store if shops like RWM sells them cheaper? Last I checked, $1299 (direct) vs $1249 (RWM), $50 savings leh

Is up to you, if the savings is substantial u may consider get from other places, otherwise get from the authorized dealers.

im a person will sure buy a apple care for iphone cos the screen is not cheap. im just buying an insurace for such a expensive item and 2nd year is wherre the item start to fail

the one to one exchange is a plus for me esp selling the item in the 2nd year

1 Year Limited Warranty registration is a pain when you purchase with RWM or any unauthorised reseller. Got to ring the Apple line. Amercian staff ask you to read out your serial number, ask you to scan and send the RWM handwriten paper invoice. After verification and entering the registration date. The american inverted DD/MM/YYYY with MM/DD/YYYY. Ended up 12 month warranty have shrunk to 4 month warranty. Called up again, pinoy staff picked up, apologised and date is changed to the correct date. From there, you can purchase AC+.

Whereas if you were to purchase direct from the Apple Store, the 1 Year Limited Warranty will be automatically registered. If you opt for AC+ upon checkout, that's automatic too. Hassle free.

But is it worth the trouble for $50 savings? I would say yes. Worth it.
