Ya, that's what I did. Unfortunately everything is messed up now

- google photos shows only photos from 2017 and before.

- I managed to retrieve whatsapp backup on icloud, but somehow it can only retrieve the backup from 4 months ago, even though I just backup'd fresh copy 5mins ago

- still can't use the phone to phone transfer coz her ip7 is using about 80gb, new ip12 64gb niah.

So far, can't say I'm impressed with ios. Looks good on the outside, but once you really start using it then all the minor details start to come out.

iOS is not perfect but your procedure also weird. Try to reduce the old phone to 50gb or below first.

How about you return and pay S$70 more for a 128GB? She used 80GB... you bought a 64GB and expect it to have enough?

I think it’s time Apple should really increase their paid iCloud capacity. Will be especially useful with the Files app.

You don’t really need same size iCloud as your phone. My 110gb phone backup size is less than 50gb

for such reason is either u reduce your old phone less than 50GB or change to 128gb...

even for a pc is not possible....

and that not IOS problem but user selection problem sad to say

Those with the blue 12, turn on the flash in a dark room, see the blue edges glow. Should be very chio... havent seen the blue one glow before.
