12 blue you mean? I saw the same things. Gold is ok to me but I think it is still the same as before. Hard to take care without case. As for the 12 blue, it give me the same feeling as the old products red. Plasticky but striking. I think mint maybe a better color for non pro

Oh yes. Typo. iPhone 12 blue aluminium. Don't have the premium feel.

And the bezel on the Pro series becomes so thick like iPhone 11. How come. Is it coz of the ceramic shield, Apple wanna increase the bezel to strengthen the glass hence increase bezel size, in case of phone drop resulting in glass shatter mishap?

The display like getting yellower :s13:

When I changed from 7 -> X noticeable yellow (side by side)
Now X -> 12 Pro noticeable yellow (side by side)

Yes all night shift and true tone is off

Guess it's getting more and more accurate too, just that our eyes too used to the "blue"-ness of past less accurate screens

Anyone tried the quick start transfer ?

Now long does the setting up your Apple ID takes ? Mine seems to be forever

Try switching to another wifi network or reconnect to wifi. Even though technically only Bluetooth is required for the quick start or device-to-device migration

Don’t know leh. But I compared the size with my 11 pro, it is only bigger by a bit. Considered the screen size increased by 0.3”, not sure how is it possible with bigger bezel

The bezel is thinner on all models. The reason why you feel is thicker it’s because the screen are not flat without curved edges. Ceramic shield has nothing to do thickness of the bezel.

This the worse then what I expected. I thought 12p maybe only about 5% lower than 11p instead of >15%
Using 5nm but there is an increase in transistors count so what you get are tons of performance. So it might not be as power efficient as it seems to be. More over this is running 4G test not 5G. Next yr when promotion is introduce, will be interesting to see the battery capacity.

Ya, I look at my 11p again and noticed beside the bezel still got the casing. If add both together is quite big. 12 and 12p beside bezel got nothing else

This is my only worry. My worse case is battery at 30% at the end of the day. I hope it will not drop below 20% for 12p

Promotion is going hammer the battery even more. Plus let's not take for granted that it WILL be in the new phones.

edit: not surprised at the middling battery performance. This is where fast-charge will be real handy, plug in for a while but get as much battery topped up as possible.
