I usually never bother to buy from carousell. I just go to handphone shops to get directly.

CEOs are given 2k phones due to their appt lah. My company also gives me phone even though I am not CEO, but since I could never get the latest iPhone from my company, I rather spend and make myself happy. What’s 2k in the overall grand scheme of things. Many people think they are getting a steal when buying from telco. I did too. Till I found out the wonders of sim only plan. Overall, you pay about the same but you get more data and more flexibility

I’m not sure about you. For my case, some not are not interested in lowering their price. Say fixed no nego, take or leave it. Some even ask for deposits. Lukewarm response.

Maybe when more sellers list their phone Come Friday I’ll see how it pends out.

Buying directly from apple is crazy expensive. Wait a few months and the price will drop outside. If you can wait > 6 months, the saving will be bigger as compare to apple pricing.

agree with the sim only plan. i switch all my plans to sim only in june. much for data for less cost. my m1 now comes with 180GB for 55.35$ (caller id) compared to previously 43 GB for 83.35$ monthly.

i m tempted to buy too even when i already have ip11pm n ip8+. can replace my ip8+ (75% battery health now)

but since 5G will not be widely available in SG now, i think i will wait for ip13 series next year instead.

It’s not about the phone, rather the characters of the buyer you’re dealing. My current IPhone 8. I bought sealed box from Carousell, I saved almost 400 from retail price, when the Xr just released.

If characters are involve then i would prefer to still go to shop like RWM or KS over carousell. Deal with them before, friendly and trustworthy. That's why i go back to them.

One thing is for sure is that the bigger iphone of last and current generation will out last all their smaller counterparts.

A 12PM will last as long as a 11PM, give and take 5% diff. Also, i believe by the time you are willing to commit to 5G, you would already be considering iphone 13 or 14 for some.
