Moved to the 12 Pro Max from 11 PM too.

No noticeable battery difference between the two even though the 12 PM has a smaller battery and it still last the full day with extra juice to spare so it's good enough for me.

Perhaps the new A14 is more efficient thus allowing the 12 Pro Max battery life to be almost on par with 11PM

Better to wait for ip13 if can, most likely their new battery technology and new Qualcomm x60 modem will fix the battery and 5g hungry power issue

Haha bro. We’re in an Apple iPhone forum leh. 99.99% of users here are Apple fanboys. All chiong for new iPhone on Day 1 launch day at RRP$, every year.

Ask us wait another 10mths to a year for iPhone 13PM, kinda hard lar.

It's always better to wait. There's ProMotion, 5nm X60 modem, global mmWave support, optical stabilization for the ultra wide, etc. all coming.

But who here in the Apple Clinic can wait 10 more months. :s13:

Same story every year, every piece of technology since forever. The cycle never ends. If you always wait for "the better one", you'll just never buy or be satisfied with anything.

But the design will likely be the same. Maybe a change of colour.

Interesting to guess what is the 4th special color of next year’s iPhone.

The main 3 colours are always Silver, Space Grey (Graphite), Gold.

Their 4th special color is always targeting at males instead of females, coz guys are more gadget freak than women, who spend on makeup, handbags, and clothes more.

So I guess the 4th color next year couldn’t be Product Red Stainless Steel.

But I really can’t think of what will be the 4th color that Apple come out with, to market their flagship iPhone next year.

Maybe Apple next yr will follow Samsung’s top seller Mystic Bronze color this year for their Z Fold2 and Note20 Ultra? Just guessing lar lol.

Usually it’s always the other way round - Samsung follow Apple, not Apple follow Samsung. Like next year Jan 2021 Samsung S21 wouldn’t have power adapter inside packaging.

Deep purple? Gold is quite close to bronze already. Usually the brighter colours reserved for the non-Pros.

Just got my 12 PM today, anyone know why I can't buy AC+? It says "This device is not eligible for additional coverage", I re-contracted with M1.

Come from 11 Pro to 12mini best choice ever
The phone feels like having a 5S in jeans pocket.

1 handed operation is very well missed from the 5S era

Did you activate your device already? And did you purchase via settings, general, about, tap on AppleCare+ Coverage Available.

The 12 mini is very handy. I'm using 12 Pro Max and it feels like a giant 5S. But I'm used to large screens, and usually use both hands to type.

fully agree. the weight is another bonus vs 11pro.

my two original worries were not founded

1) text and content too small to read for my ageing eyes? the text and display have been wonderful to read and sharp as well. i will say i can read equally well between 12mini and 11pro.

2) battery life worries? the battery is a non-issue for me. this morning i charge it up to 85% and unplug at 9am+. was out and about cafe hopping, and shopping. spend more time than i usually do on the phone browsing and social media stuff. and at 3.30pm it's at 65%. so while it's nowhere near 2-3 days battery life. it is very usable and will easily last a full day for most people. and if u are a gamer... what's a gamer doing with a mini phone?

sometimes it takes up to a day for apple's internal systems to update after you activate phone.

U charge it to 85% and at 3.30pm u still have 65% left that’s good. Wonder why people r saying the mini batt life is bad.

I figured it out already. It can be used with case and screen protector. But under the condition that the phone is charging. I tried.

just read through the extensive feedback on mr on the lock screen touch issue on 12mini.
glad to report that all is well on my side with psaj rubber black casing and zeelot SP with the border and speaker mesh

i put on the SP and casing almost immediately after receiving phone. and never had any touch issue on lock screen.

i don't have a magsafe case to test. so that's that...
