Hi Guys,
Check ur service agreement carefully, especially combo plans.
I kena and pending for Singtel to update me.

My FREE 12 mths amazon prime not reflected and got Singtel to rectify BUT!

The FREE 12 months Viu Premium with any 5G or XO Plus plan sign up got issue!

1. When I added the Viu Premium after 5G, system shows Free 12mths.
2. Order summary did indicate Viu Premium12 mths $5.90 and another line as Viu Premium12 mths -$5.90

I check my service agreement, it's indicated as 12 mths promo but under promo validity it's only dated for 3 mths.

So I contact the CSO again, he check and told me my agreement is correct, it's stated 3 mths.
When I argued with him, he told me 12 mths is only valid for 5G With XO Plus Plan.

I screenshot to him the promo, telling him it's "OR" and not "with" and he might had mistaken it as standalone Viu Premium signup of 12mths free 3 mths promo.

After rounds of checking, guess what he replied me.
He asked if I had been charged by Singtel and ask me to chat again if it happens after 3 mths....zzzzz

Please see your agreement carefully as all will written in black and white with activation date, service contract duration and promo validity from date to date.

He is lazy and just giving a reply by checking the agreement initially and expect customer to chat with another CSO who able to know better and recall the promotion 3 mths later if anything goes wrong.

Btw, iOS 15.0 (19A346) has been unsigned by Apple for:

- iPhone 13 Mini
- iPhone 13
- iPhone 13 Pro
- iPhone 13 Pro Max

Expecting iOS 15.0.1 to drop soon because if someone who needs to restore their iPhone 13 now be it at home or at Apple Genius, they cannot.
They are reports on iOS 15 not responsive to touch screen with youtube and phone lock might need to press the power button once before it can get unlock by swiping.

Yeah, but not sure when will that fix be out. We know that Apple has unsigned for the iPhone 13 series and is very likely related to the Apple Watch unlock issue.

I rather apple repair my phone than a 3rd party using original parts.

Yup, but what’s more frustrating is their tactics to show how they “allow” third party repair certified shops but make it difficult and lengthy to the point that most customers would have the incentive to go to Apple instead.

This dude explains it best.

The video is it about camera repair and showing error and unable to function after using 3rd party parts?

I saw a video regarding iPhone 12 IIRC swap the sim tray and parts to become dual sim before.

I changed my iPhone 5s, 6 screen, battery and home button regularly due to kids handling.

iPhone X much more complicated and I tried changing the battery, sound button / wireless charging flex.
And eventually spoils the phone camera due to using the screwdriver to remove the connectors.
There's very micro contacts hidden under the sponge and my screwdriver accidentally damage it when removing connectors.

Erm…. I mentioned sim tray and Parts……
there’s a number of videos online and I just Googled and realized beside Carousell, some shop in SG also have this service.
there’s this big shop at SLS 5th level and another with few branches in SG.
so it should be able to modify for previous iPhone model

Yes, you are right. It's just a simple tray swap. No extra steps needed to enable dual sim. Once swap, it will auto detect dual sim.

Why still people import from CN/HK? Simple, you don't need to open up your phone.

U are referring to the whole tray component and not just the usual sim tray we eject to change sim card right?

It would be interesting if it's easy to change.
I changed Samsung S3 (1 sim) before when sim card stuck and damaged the pin, bought from Shopee less than $5 IIRC and it's a stick on replacement.
Just need to align the connectors.
