Which model iPhone? Which version iOS?

I don't remember having to activate NFC on my iPhone XS Max, and iOS has always been the latest. No issue detecting my card so far.

ip12. i place my ezlink card below the back camera, cannot sense. i shift to other parts of the back (basically I move the card slowly around), also cannot detect.

iPhone 12 with that bigger camera... Try somewhere bottom-right of cam area, hold it there for a few seconds and see what it says on the screen. It should be somewhere there, hold it steady for a while especially if you happen to have a case there.

Try this... Once you've estimated the position, stop moving the phone for a while and see if it detects your card. Having come from an Android being my primary phone, I've noticed my old iXSMax isn't as sensitive. Have to slow down as it takes more effort/time. I thought it's my iPhone that's ready to be replaced...

I've never tried FlashPay before... With EZ Link cards, I've to get them entered into the app first. That is, I cannot help friends reload as their cards aren't in my app.

Not sure if that's the reason...

Flashpay gotta use the NETS App. The EZ-link app is not compatible. At least that was my experience.

Oh, we can reload with the app then! Come to think of it, I've a forgotten EZ Link charm that's a FlashPay, forgotten because the number wasn't accepted in the EZ Link app. Out of sight, out of mind.

Thanks for this, I'll go use my NETS app with it. 👍
