Getting from Courts is such a scam btw.

Walked into a Courts (shall not name where) and asked for the iPhone Pro Max 256 GB burgundy and the lady told me no stock, need wait about 1 month. But she says if I buy the Courts warranty (300+, similar to AppleCare), can get the stock tomorrow. Lol like that also can.

Some years ago iStudio also used similar tactics where if you buy their overpriced cases there is ready stock, else is pre order and have to wait.

Like that mine seems to be fast already, 89% hahaha ok

I set up iPhone from scratch without restoring any data or photos, and it still took a full ~24 hours for the indexing to complete.

When I was on Dev Beta 1, it took 1 week plus to complete and there is no progress indicator in %. So chill.

Last time before they setup Apple Store in SG, all at the mercy of these so called "authorised resellers", those Epicentre, Nubox, iStudio la, all got a lot of pattern one and a lot of under-table, cannot really get stocks on Day 1 also ... iStudio, in particular is disgusting, need customer to buy their accessories before can buy phone ...

All these stores to me are dam useless after we have the 3 official stores.

And these Authorised Reseller dilute the pre-order say stocks.

This year's Burgundy and Glacier are a huge contrast (more understated, and I feel that the Burgundy exudes a quiet luxury, old money vibe) to the last year's Cosmic Orange...

Btw, for those who are on the Cosmic Orange 17PM, it's going to be very obvious it's last year's model. The Silver 17PM can still pass off as 18PM (except for the two tone back panel which will not be visible unless using clear case)

One of the Google results shows Sim Lim . I have also read some negative comments about that place as tourist traps. So am unsure if that’s gonna yield any positive discounts or promotions as I haven’t been there before

Actually last year's 17PM Silver is a good choice cos 18PM also has Silver but not Blue/Orange so can't tell you're on 17PM other than the two-tone back panel
