There is definitely a fair bit of force being used

But still its up to individual to guage whether that is considered alot or little

I don't see how the phone is going to bend under normal conditions. As long as you don't put it in your back pocket and then sit on it... you should be fine. For it to bend in your front pocket the pressure would have to be so considerable you'd definitely feel something is not right. In other words - I don't believe anything bad can happen unknowingly.

On the other side, I can imagine that case manufacturers will now be marketing their cases as "bend-proof" and trying to out-label each other as to which case is the "toughest..."
