iPhone 6 screen top yellow tint

anyone else experiencing a yellow/darker tint towards the top part of the screen? Most noticeable with white background in safari and comparing both sides in landscape mode.

If you are visiting Hwz, the banner is light green and if you slide the banner behind the top 1cm it turns yellowish.

I get what TS is trying to say. I did a one to one exchange twice and the result is the same. Mine is slightly tinted too. I read somewhere online it'll fade away soon. Idk how true is that though :/

Bobian. They told me slight tinted yellow is acceptable by Apple standard. I filed a case with apple. The person told me that it's not normal. He wanted to help but when he passed the ball to our local Apple senior advisor, he told me it's acceptable by Apple standard. I changed it twice at QCD wheelock only with a case id. No case id they will reject you straight. The guy at the counter said the technician no see a problem with it. Knn.

After that I did a check with the serial number, realized it's confirm refurbish set one. And the entire batch most probably the same issue.

These are most likely standby refurbish sets. The part no which most of us got are like MG4J2ZP/A which is a gold iPhone. The one I receive was NG4J2ZP/A. Yes mine is Apple online store

Mine even got a slight dark patch on the top. Apple told me to go down to apple service center, have them check out and call apple back and they will decide what to do.

Went down to A.lab and was told this is normal. Refuse to change. Told them give apple a call i have the case ID they also refuse telling me its normal. Tulan.

Next day went to QCD and show them and got it exchanged. Replacement set swee swee equal whiteness across the screen.

My first set was swee swee. But the volume button sunk in so I lan lan go change. Which QCD did u went to? Wheelock?

Actually if buy from Apple store online can just ask them to replace it one for one. No need to go to service centre.

Only wheelock service iphone.

And heck care is it refurbish or not. As long as come out the phone swee swee as good as new one with new smell... i happy liao.

Eh mine is 128gb space grey. bought from epicentre. Haha wanted to go down to a.lab. looks like i will give a it a miss and go straight to wheelock then. thanks for sharing!

Some do not have this issue. I suspect its the display maker. Apple engaged 2 display company for this 6/6+. One was LG, the other was JDI.

You need a train eye to see this. I give my bro see he also cannot see until I take his phone compare and he realized his iPhone 5s the sides all tinted yellow! LOL
