iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus #Hissgate?

I got hearing problem so can't tell. But my wife says she can hear it when I watch YouTube and she puts her ears near the phone.

Haha this type of small issue won't affect the reseller market. The brand itself is too hard to beat.

iphone 7 has no problems
the PLUS version have the hissing issue
not all but some.

Never hear any hissing sound, but I did hear some internal components moving when record underwater.
Looks like a feature Apple Watch 2 has that pumps water out from the speaker?

I don't think so. Cuz from the teardown shown on YouTube, the speaker is a normal speaker with just 2 mesh to keep water out.

only pple with ultra hearing can catch it
it is hardly audible

Like what the previous reply to your question said, the new iPhones have the same speaker setup as the last gen iPhones.. Though got 2 speaker grills, the left one is pseudo speaker aka no speaker there (so only got one right speaker lol). The left grill hides the mic and barometer iirc..

The ticking sound from underwater probably seems like the barometric vent doing its work.
