I went QCD. They listened and said its not normal. There is no stock for 256gb 7plus matte black. they say once stocks come in will call me down for replacement. I doubt the stock will also be the same

Sianzzz no official word from apple yet

will they do a 1 for 1 exchange?

Just got my 32gb 7+ black from singtel delivery. no hissing when recording video but can hear hissing when running google octane, will monitor when i restore back tonight.

actually jus now i tried the hissgate in a quiet area.

both video record or on phone with someone, another party can hear (if the person on loudest volume).

but i guess i jus live with it la. LOL

just got my set ip7+ 128gb... no weird sound when running octane..
but there is a weird ticking on video....

is it because of the noise cancelling>?

where to run this octane thing? so far I'm restoring and syncing my phone . . no sound heard yet

how does coilwhine sound like?

Is it test during itune syncing of large music files, some apps can test got coilwhine already?

Or test by restoring to ios 10.02 time can test the sound?

Tried the octane thing. Pressed my ear to the back of the phone at logo area... very faint sound. Must really strain to even hear anything.
Using 7+ 256gb MB

Anyone has issue with the haptic touch on the home button. Seems like mine has lost the haptic touch n the home button when pressed down as a little click sound.. how does the home button actually work??

sian my 7+ has the issue. quite obvious. even charging can hear if listen from the apple logo. Booked an appointment with QCS @ wheelock . Hope can exchange

When you're device is on, the click sound is artificially created. It's a nice touch by Apple to let you know that you clicked it. What do you mean by lost the haptic touch?? If you put the phone flat down you're going to feel that it is weaker than usual.

If it mean anything my serial C39xxx and don't hear hissing in normal use or running octane. But I also don't put my ear right next to the logo back.

Don't quite get it, but if feel the tap feedback too weak, can always try set Settings-General-Home Button to 3
