but wait, first of all, all this can be made easy.

How did you give him the money? thru face to face? or ibanking/transfer account. if you have the account number, definitely easier via police report.

Open all these links, and save them to your computer as an Internet Webpage using format .mhtml or .mhtm for evidence.

It seems like he created his profile on Nov 23rd, 2010.

Send email to Yahoo.com (abuse@yahoo.com), and inform them you've made a police report about your current situation. What is their requirement to release the IP address used to access his email account? You may have to seek police's assistance or lawyer to write a authorization letter.

even with a police report, yahoo isn't going to forward any of his info to the op.

@op: your dear police won't give a crap unless the amount is more than minimum. this will probably drag on for months and you have something like a 20% chance of getting your money back lol. you deserve it, for not doing your research.

I was cheated $100 few months back (Not on iPhone of course), I filed police report, waited about 2 months +, the accused finally returned me the money. I called the HQ to enquire on the status, yet it says still pending. Lol

This guy is 100% professional con man. I saw his iPhone sales thread 2 days ago, and added him in MSN just to test him. He just msg me today asking me to transfer 300 first to him, he willing to sell me his iPhone 4 32gb at 850. Only a fool will believe someone will sell at 850. As usual he produced the fake sales invoice and the fake IC that he scan and send to my mail. He even advise me where to go to transfer, eg Singpost at Killiney. Best of all he even arrange someone from a courier company to call me. Stay tune for more updates tonight. He will call me later.

Trick him out, contact the police and arrest him! Ask him for COD, and call the police. He might be even looking at this thread now. Lol

So all those Name, NRIC details TS posted might not be his real identity? He probably get hold of somebody's IC and use it to con people, possible?

Just remember next time that there is no such thing as deposit first, then pay balance upon delivery here. All buy and sell are COD.

Not really, I always buy from eBay/Amazon and I pay amount fully using PayPal or Credit card, and the sellers always send merchandise to my house.

Guys he just called me earlier in the day. Nicholas Ng is definetly not him. Clearly a case of fake identity. He must have found this guy's IC somewhere and used it I believe. This guy is not a Singaporean, I can tell from his accent. He is likely a filipino guy, though he will chat like a Singaporean in MSN with Singlish. This is the number he use to call me: +639234655653. His MSN is: yakitoriunltd080@hotmail.com (obviously a typical scammer address right?). I believe he uses multiple email and phone no. to con pple.

He claimed he just went to Philippines few days ago for work, the address in the courier invoice he sent to me was from this, SDR Serviced Residences, Cebu, Philippines. I will try to post the fake invoice here for you all to see. In the postage invoice details, he even managed to include the iphone 4 32gb serial, model, Hello Shop receipt and he even told me he have included a iFrogz case for me. The invoice looks very authentic and convincing, no wonder TS got fooled by him.

I believe this may be a Filipino cheat syndicate at work. He is not alone, he even got a fake operator, a lady to call me to inform me about the iphone postage, date of arrival and asked to verified my address.

At first, I told him I will only pay the $950(which i quoted him) after receiving and checking the iphone. He said no problem and no hurry. Then I told him in MSN "huh... are you sure, you not scared I take the phone and not pay up?" Then yesterday he came out chu stun, saying he urgently needs to raise money to send to his mum. He then asked me to transfer $300 to him first and he is willing to lower the phone to $850. Come on la, why don't he sell to the handphone shop there in the first place? I told him I work late, then he told me to go Kiliney Singpost which close at 9pm to do a urgent funds transfer.

So guys out there, please be careful. I think he will use different user name in HWZ to continue to post in sales thread. Don't fall into it. I believe he is watching this thread now so he may change his tatics. (hey a**hole, if you are watching this thread, I have to say though your acting's good, there are still many loopholes. Please improve on that!!)

p.s. he just sms me again now, saying why I have not reply him and not send over money. He say he can wait till tomorrow morning.
