Anyone has screen brightness issue?

Min/max brightness is still very very dim.

Min, my screen literally goes "off", totally darkness.
Max is like old iPhone 60%

True tone off, reduce white point off, auto brightness off.

Tried with true tone and auto brightness on, not much improvement either

Wow. I just realised a big problem that nobody mentioned. Over these 2 days I received a lot of complains saying I ‘kup’ the phone. My Friend say after ringing 4 times the iPhone auto cancels the call. I tested it myself using my house phone and it’s true! Anyone else has this problem?

did u just recontract ur plan or something? this might be line issue. For singtel, nowadays without voicemail, end of call is "kup" phone

are you on any screen protector?

looked as if the front camera/proximity sensor got covered when you unlock the phone. the display will dim if you do that.

If you're on Singtel you can try this method to increase the ringing to 30 secs:
Dial: **61*1389*11*30#

Am resetting to factory settings now in order to try and get better battery life. Upon restarting, there are 2-3 apple ids that is asking for the password to restore. Anyone knows why? Its a sealed set from Telco.

I ordered online, deliver to me but must open on the spot to check. Saw scratches then the person said can reject goods but down side is must wait a few more days to get a new phone again.i think this is new practice cus previously I bought 7plus also no need open box to check one.

Scheduled a appt, and also went to consult apple live chat. Did a reset and everything is OK again for now.

Will monitor how it goes. Canceled appt, cause actually not very free.. Will go down after exams are over :) hopefully it stays ok

Is it constantly like that? Have you also checked FaceID & Attention under general settings?

Maybe I should post this in the iOS 11 chat but here seems more active haha.

Anyone got an explanation why when I turn off WiFi and Bluetooth in control Centre, it still remains turned on in settings? I see that it is written that the phone disables new WiFi or Bluetooth connection, but won’t the phone still waste battery searching for existing WiFi and Bluetooth devices? So if I want to really conserve power, I need to go to settings to turn off WiFi and Bluetooth?

Yes you’re right. That’s the intended results from Apple.

reasoning is those radios being on facilitates features like Handoff, AirDrop for a better user experience.

Check whether you have accidentally turn on “Low Light” in General > Accessibility > Zoom > Zoom Filter.
