Thanks for the info. I gotta forget the car cam's network liao. If not on the wifi in the car and get it connected to the iRoad, no WhatsApp messages will come in.

Seems when wifi on, and when you hotspot to another device, it will cut wifi off.. I remember once I curious why my wifi was off, I try to on it and it prompt turning wifi on will cut off devices that is connected through hotspot..

But i didn't check though how may device was connected when hotspoting... will test out next time when hotspoting..

If I didn’t interpret your question wrongly, you seem to ask how come your phone is connected to a WiFi network and then it is disconnected when you activate hotspot function.

Reason:
You cannot turn your phone into a hotspot and yet it is a client of another WiFi network. You can only choose one of them. Turning on hotspot implies you must turn on your mobile data connection.

This is the same behaviour across all OS platforms, not just iOS only.

If use the selfie cam it will take pic but no pic in the photos...

Im in a hurry to take photos then when i review photos nothing is there....

Anyone faced battery issue after updating to 11.2.2?

Yesterday I felt like my iphone X was charging slower than normal then last night before i went to sleep at 1am left it at 71% this morning at 9am it was 0.

My battery usage indicator didn't show anything (like rogue app or anything)

i had a bad battery drain issue last week

i did a hard reset and problem resolved

I had a bad battery drain when I first got my phone

X hours of standby
X hours of usage

Same amount of time used.

Then I wanted to backup my phone and realised my phone was constantly trying to restore iPhone with 32KB left.

has anyone brought their IPhone X in extreme cold weather? like -20 or -30? did it work? or shut down immediately?

i did a hard reset and problem resolved

What do you guys think of iPhone X battery generally? I came from ip6+ and I find iPhone X battery to be weaker than ip6+ despite switching off raise to wake, tap to wake, background refresh and location only some apps use while app is open I only charged my phone for 2 hours+ the first time I took it out of box doesn’t matter right?

And the vibration for iPhone X quite soft also? My old ip6+ vibrate loudly while ipx can barely hear the vibration sound

I had the replacement iphone x for 2 mths now. Overall gd. Battery life seems ok. I do agree tat sometimes notification came in without any ring sound. I remember this happened to my previous iphone too so i didnt get too bothered

It is obviously out of operational temperature at those ranges! Don't expect it to work.

The battery life is enough to last a day for sure unless you have your device screen on for very long hours. Sounds about right. As you go the battery become more stable. The first few hours or day tends to feel like it drains fast cause you keep turning on and check the phone out hahaha.

You are not supposed to hear the vibration or haptic engine. It is just suppose to give the feeling of taps or clicks not buzz out like a motor.

battery life I avg about 9-10hrs usage.
