Hi, have any of you experience this issue on your iphone x?

My iphone was lagging, as in opening whatsapp chat was slower than usual, and after i read whatsapp messages, it is till appearing as unread message with the bubble notification appearing at the app. I also tried to turn on wifi by entering into the wifi page through the setting app. The screen hangs there and when i slide up to go to multitaking and back again, then it was then able to go into the wifi setting page. Social medial also don't load when i pull down to refresh. It just freezes then, so i had to close it through multitask page.

I closed all apps, switch off the phone and on again. Everything went back to normal after that. Well this was a one off issue, but just curious if any of the users here experience such issues before. Thanks!
Afew times, but very specific apps does it. Whatsapp and Facebook. Two of the application that i can trigger it to happen. 3rd party applications have been iffy recently. Maybe it is time to give feedback to developers.

I felt apple didn’t spend much time to optimized x much the Ui speed is inconsistent

But 3rd app speed is still ok
It’s due in built app is not optimized

🤔 not sure why but i get 2 particular lag after awhile, have to reboot to get back e smoothness. lag as in:
1. AppStore update icon animation
2. Safari back swipe gesture animation.

I have hard reboot a few times. And after charging a few times my iPhone usage and standby times are the same. I have to restart it again.

I’m using those QC3.0 chargers. Do I have to use back the iPhone original one for it to optimize?

hard reboot then charge to full. make sure u r on e latest ver of iOS.

after using e smooth gestures dun think I can go back to double clicking e home button.

The other guy is saying it’s much easier on iOS 11.3 specifically. This is what I was wondering about.

But the biggest problem is…

The first iPhone was so beloved because -- in a world of hard-to-use phones that acted like mini computers with file systems, keyboards and styluses -- it was simple. Anyone could pick it up and figure it out.

10 years on, you can't use the iPhone X without a tutorial, which Apple does provide. Things that should be easy are complex. For example, don't you swipe up on the camera icon to open it from the lock screen? No, you hard-press and then release it, a change from the previous version, or swipe right.

think the changes in gesture control is too much of a learning curve for some.

Funny hor. Want all the new features and upgrades but nitpick at having to learn new gestures.

Like the commercial about upgrading everything but own self :D
