100% fix for me, bro. Apple don’t do things lacklustrely. When they release an update fix, most probably they’ve fine tuned the problem with several sets over at their HQ.

After iOS updated to 12.01 for any cables still works great, no more issue again.

We Singaporeans very lazy hor? Someone else just asked the same question and answer has been given too. Every update from Apple, there’s a change log in Settings>General>Software update. In the log, it states that the intermittent charging issue has been fixed.
