Diff user diff views ba.
As I dun need Esim, the disadvantage i see is if I convert to esim; I can only sell or trade in my phone after I got the new HP. And it might cost me additional charges if my next phone use physical SIM card.

In the past, I can sell my iPhone at a higher value before new iPhone annouce/launch and use an older iPhone temporary.

Transition period. Most likely most phones will support esim.

eSIM means that if you lose your iPhone, there's no SIM card to remove

The esim is prematurely remain on the phone. Nobody even can hacked the phone yet.
They might chop of the phone become like parts lol.
But the safer was all your data still remain the on main board as well.

Guys a few questions:

1. Does swapping a local iP sim tray with one from China’s make it physical dual sim ready?

2. If eSim is activated locally but is not supported in countries I’m travelling in, say Taiwan, means phone is rendered useless?

Thanks

1. It doesn’t work even if you swap in a dual SIM tray. The hardware is different.
