Is Nomad a good protective case or just for the design?

Nomad is a very good protective and design case for me.

I have dropped my phone from some heights and a few times flying out of my hand over a distance. Perfect. No damage to the phone or whatsoever.

The front screen bump has quite a gap too. I am using a hydrogel screen protector purely for preventing scratches and it worked perfectly in my case (no pun)

Comparing the iPhone 11 Saddle Brown to the iPhone 12 Saddle Brown.

The iPhone 12 Saddle Brown didn't darken much.
It was way harder to get a patina after like a full year of use.

Whereas, if you have ever owned a iPhone Saddle Brown Case prior to the 12 series you'll notice that within a month of heavy usage, the leather will naturally darken.
But the 12 series? Only small parts of the case turned dark brown.

I personally feel that Apple has increased the amount of coating used on the iPhone 12 series leather cases.
Not sure if it'll be the same case for the 13 series

How are Apple silicone cases? Still thinking which case to get. Want something minimal but with at least raised lip around the front so that the screen won't touch the surface when lying face down

Apple cases are good..past few years i just need to get 1 apple case (sometimes depend on mood either leather or silicone) and it'll last all the way till my next iphone. not tempted to get multiple cases anymore so it's worth it to me.

I've found the spigen full cover ones are nice. used in on the 12 pro max and the oleophobic coating was nice and smooth

Unfortunately they don’t stock up as fast as the store fronts on Shopee or Lazada.
