Yes not all appreciate patina effect. If one truly loves leather should know about patina effect over time and love it this way. This is why car leather seats are always not “real” leather

The coating eventually breaks down in high wear areas which is why you see dark streaks on the edges. A good case will patina evenly over time, Apple’s obviously doesn’t.

I don’t know if the 14 cases will be any different from the 12 and 13’s, at this point it’s much too early to say.

. Maybe go for Nomad Horween leather, it patina evenly

Yeah. Really love the Patina on the older cases.

Older cases uses premium European leather. The newer cases since iPhone 12 uses cheaper and thinner material. Apple does not even reference it to European leather unlike the past.

Apple Clear Case with MagSafe is good. Don’t yellow that fast.

Actually I saw jb shops selling also, not that expensive iirc 20rm only with installation but must find the correct shop. Some selling 25rm-30rm.

As for the variants, accordingly to seller 6D is the better choice. King Kong is smoother on the touch but elephant is stronger. I tried elephant with my iPhone 12 Pro Max and until now still working good, dropped face down few times no crack, but might also due to Nomad case been protecting lol
