yes...abit true. It's just a gauge to show that people do improve after going for IPT. Even though i say not to put in your best, there are still people who will do so...

To be honest, i prefer IPT over RT. It's because i really spend some time exercising and not waste time like RT. In RT, when go gym, i always sit down and watch tv 1. :s22:
just wondering if you did not improve on the IPT IPPT compared to the CAT test.. still consider cleared IPT?
or they will send you to RT??

2 years ago, i heard they say they going to implement that...but in the end, nothing materialised...but if you want, you just 'cheat' in your 1st test lor...eg, situps just do 32, then actual test 34, 2.4 run 20 min then actual test, run a passing timing if you can...:s13:

Yesterday I went for the RT phase 1 "orientation", they said if you got partial failure during RT ippt, they will release you but need you to come back within 3 months to clear that station? Got so good one?

i agree i don't think it will be effective even if they introduce penalty for no improvement, we can always rigged our "performance" during cat test and chut power during the actual one. furthermore, even if they stringent enforce this, they will be channeling a lot of people back to RT. waste of time and resources. but then again, its SAF, famous for "double" job and kok up policy.

Anyone went for the IPT at Toa Payoh SAFRA? The one which you have to pay $200 to get in one. IS there any difference? I sign up for that because I live next to the SAFRA and can save >$200 on transport cost and first lesson is this thurs.

shrugs, seems like they look serious this time,, yesterday my RT session have to fill in survey on IPPT. loads of kok-up ideaz. Like i think someone mentioned before, completing half marathon to fulfill IPPT obligation. As my RT mates say 2.4km already got problem riaos, run 21km , siao bo.

the person who suggested it really no brainer ... obviously 21km is tougher and take up more time than IPPT test. If you are fit enough to last a half-marathon, you cannot pass ippt? .... lol

I believe it's for people who cannot pass their sbj or chinup...some people can only run...:s13:

I got a friend who cannot do chin-ups but can run very well...so i guess the plan may suit him...

wah like oso can, why not just make it that you choose any one station you like, if you pass the station, clear IPPT better. :s13: save everybody's time

no la the revamp has got nothing to do with marathon or wat.

IPT must be done within 9 mths of your window. You can chose do spread out the lessons at anytime you want, i.e 1 lesson per month. but you gotta show improvement. dun have, means extra 5 more lessons.

last 3 mths of window is for RT.

they got give you a card, you write down your timing...in the end, can cheat lah...i mean you just run a little slower at the 1st training, a little faster in 2nd, then you continue to improve till your max(normal running speed)...this kinda of thing surely very easy 1...for chinup, just do zero even your normal is 1 or more, then got improvement liao lor...
