to all old birds, need to clarify:

You have NOT TAKEN your IPPT for 12/11/2008 to 29/06/2010.
Advisory:
(a) Please ATTEMPT your IPPT by 29/06/2010,

I ORD 11/11/2008 and I took my ippt today.. now read thread hear many ppl say must take after my birthday(which is in June)... does this mean my result today won't be counted??:s22:

Thanks for enlightenment.:)

I think so. Today test should be for June 08 to June 09. You can check if your latest test score are recorded in NS.com.

even if cleared ipt (but failed ippt).. the status on ns.sg will still show as "need to clear ippt by xx date or you may be subjected to rememdial training"?

yes...but no worries. After you clear ipt, you will be clear of rt even though if you fail your ipt ippt. ;)

from what i understand, the charges come from your NS unit and not the FCC..
so it really depends on your NS unit whether they wan to charge you if u miss MUT.

hi, i heard that IPT 1st session is IPPT test? is that true?

yes...it's a cat test...but please don't do your best cause the results will not be counted. It's used to compare it with the results from the 8th session ippt(which will be counted).

wanted to confirm, sometimes very difficult to make it for RT session because of workload. So will make it a point to "make use" of the sessions allowed to be missed sometimes. so far this few years nothing happened from my unit, actually was quite surprise to hear people tio charged for that. their unit on or what? In truth I a bit suspicious they say people tio charged for missing MUT coz never heard a real case before.
And also the PTI said if you missed the IPPT session at RT, there isn't any Make up for it. So if very sway missed IPPT how? don't tell me the unit gonna charge you for something you can't do make-up for? Don't make sense leh.

with regards to this, i cant answer it. this is how SAF wants us to keep fit. (ya rite :))

for the RT IPPT, normally they have it phase 1 and phase 2 back to back, Eg (tues for phase 1 and wed for phase 2). you can actually attend either one of them, unless you really cant do so.

this is how the system works.. i think RT also not very useful.. unless you really put in effort.
but if u really got effort, should have cleared IPPT in the first place. :D

yes...abit true. It's just a gauge to show that people do improve after going for IPT. Even though i say not to put in your best, there are still people who will do so...

To be honest, i prefer IPT over RT. It's because i really spend some time exercising and not waste time like RT. In RT, when go gym, i always sit down and watch tv 1. :s22:
