IPPT, IPT & RT Questions...

hi, im new and confused to the IPT scene, for obese IPT band, if my first sesson puts me in band 4 (30.4 BMI), im 158/76kg,Based on the chart i need to lose 1 kg correct? Do i just tell the instructor i want to take my weight again on the 2nd ipt session to see if i have lost the required weight?

PPT is based on past years ippt result + 1st session CAT IPPT test, all done by the system, how they calculate we wont know

with that being said, even if u do damm cui for all stations u might not get PPT1

since last year u managed to pass ur ippt, i would advise u to pass the ippt this year to save all the trouble

But what if i managed to pass my ippt on my 1st IPT-ippt? Does it count as a pass?

yes, counted as a "proper" ippt pass...

im not sure abt the chart but if u think u have met ur requirement, just drop by the office and ask to have ur height and weight taken

thanks for the answer, if i left 5 days before my window closes on monday (9 months), i can still book first session and try to take my ppt (BMI)on monday right?

hmm, u can try but depending how fast the system update ur PPT after u take ur first session.

usually its 3 working days

Thanks, final questions, IPT for weight loss first session also need to take the ippt cat test right? Or go straight to weight loss training? Also 7pm-10pm strictly? or like RT can leave by 9pm latest?

Yes, also ippt test. Training also like RT, 2-2.5 hours.

Siong or not all depends on individual fitness lah. Some people do 15 pushups like want to die but some can do 20 without sweat.

And are there still the system where if one static station failed, the rest all pass can retake just the static station only ?

Got charged for defaulting either IPPT or RT or IPT in the letter.

I didn't take IPPT (took once but before the new window opened) nor RT. Now receive a SAF264, will I be just fined or required to do RT also or both.

Maybe both, all depends on the officer.

the JDO waived off the fine and RT after I explained my situation to him.

Considered I'm lucky this time. Next window I'm gonna pass ippt to avoid all this hassle.

I think they will state it on ns.sg after you book it, right? Should be 4pm if I'm not wrong.

Yes, can do partial pass but no $ if u pass.
