go see specialist, ask for memo to excuse ippt/chin-up.

make an appointment ns hotline or your ns unit for a medical review with the MO.

show him the memo and hopefully he will endorse/approve it.
got some question for my ipt/rt/ippt here..

will the MO follow what the specialist say in the memo?
or they need to review everything? checkup, xray etc?

i have an ankle injury and went for xray and mri.
specialist wrote a memo to ask for a permanent downgrade.
called up ns.sg as i am unable to book medical review online. the appointment given was more then 1 mth from the date of my call.

currently i am still in my 1st 9mths. was taking my ipt during that period. left 4 more session to complete. but think i wont be able to complete it now.

my medical review with mo is at end of my 9th mth window.
so not sure will they request me to go and take 20 session rt or not :(

Can someone tell me, what is the minimum number of RT sessions to attend (out of 20), to be considered a non-defaulter?

I remember previous scheme, for phase 1, you can skip 1 session, phase 2 can skip 2 session..

correct me if i am wrong..

need to attend/complete all 20 RT sessions...

if never attend any of your booked sessions, that session will not be counted and you can just rebook another day.

now no more such thing as phase 1 phase 2.

So in other words, attend 19 session and miss 1, will still kena fine??
WTF?

you can miss the sessions. they will just not be counted and you can book another session to "make up" for it.

thanks.. think i did not make my question clear.

I know RT = 20 sessions.

But how many sessions can I skip without 'making up', but still be considered as completed my RT obligation?

Question..

1) Can request for extension of RT window? 3 months is too tight for me to complete 20 sessions.

2) Whats the max number of sessions i can book per week?

Need some guidance on the proper procedure to excuse chin up station.

Ns man here

My arm sprain 2 months ago still cannot recover.
My ippt window going to be close in 3 month. Dun think can make it in time.

Even though is a lot better now, still got sharp pain just by hanging.
Go see specialist directly ask for x ray , then go mo endorse ? Must tell any other department , so the ippt system will know ?

Hi,
i am having the same similar issue here.

Currently left 6 months to window close, soi booked my IPT, 2nd lesson that time suay suay (hard to believe but yea) after IPT on the way back home eye put stamp, fell down and had a really bad sprain, to the extend foot cannot touch floor.

when to TCM to fix the dislocation, now can walk liao but still hurts, cfm cannot run.

So my question is, if this ankle doesnt get better in 1month's time there is no way i can finish my IPT and RT in time,

what are my ways to excuse myself for this window? call it keng or not, up to you but there is no way i could run with this ankle.

Any pointers?

you need to see western doctors and get some excuse/memo from them.

then request for a medical review and submit the excuse/memo to your MO if that excuse is going to last for quite a while.

couple of questions as i have lost touch of the current system .

1)No more session held on sunday ? its always " no more vacancy " whenever i choose a sunday . i tried maju , kranji and khatib . (my main camp is kranji ) and i already attended first lesson which is the IPPT

2)I understand last time there is this "grace period" , that they will still sign you in even though you are late for 15 mins(the max) . How about now ? last saturday i attended my first lesson at kranji fcc under IPT . they start the lesson at 530pm . The official timing is 5pm .

3)Possible to extend the IPT period by 1 week ? i did that for RT last year.

2) Inpro timing normally till 15 mins after official timing. Lesson may start 25-30 mins after official timing.

3) Should be able to. Talk to the admin staff after your lesson.
