IPPT, IPT & RT Questions...

Hi guys,

if i have lessons on every day of the week bar sunday (taking masters) & need to take RT, what do i do huh?

Wkday lessons - 7pm to 10pm
Sat - 9am - 5pm


Btw i heard my friend say nowadays RT u got to go at 5pm? So if ur boss dun allow u to leave at 5pm, u gotta burn both days of ur wkend?

1) Defer till your holidays.
2) Yes, if you cannot do makeups on weekdays, then you can only do it on weekend, meaning you go for RT on sat and sun. But in phase 2, you need to go 3 days, so die die you must go 1 weekday per week and then both days on weekend.

hi fellow bros..i have some question to ask

1)how many RT session can i go per week max?
2)i have 4 scheduled days i cant attend due to work commitment.Can i miss 2 session and do MUT for the other 2 session..so total i will be attending 6 sessions?

can try defering? Last time I undergrad don't need to do RT one , maybe masters is the same.

The rule already changed...all must do RT...

yes. 1 weekday and 1 weekend. I about 3 years never attend RT liao, now start at 5pm meh? Don't think so leh, i attend ipt still see RT start at about 6pm. Anyway, your boss have to release you for Rt under the law. If he doesn't, i heard will get fine by the govt 1.

anw I know bedok RT start at 6 usually will end around 8. I think sometimes got some siao on garang kia can finish even faster by around 7.30 out pro liao. how they manage to finish so fast i also dunno.
aiya all pes a/b nsmen shld just take IPT la. swee swee gao tim in 1 month. the RT money also cant pay petrol/utilities/water bill. go RT you see alot of different people.. got high flying exec driving bmw 5 series car but still tio this RT shenanigans.

no la RT inpro bout 6 sharp, normally they ask you come a bit earlier, they got cater a bit of time for latecomers. then different tag do their individual sh*te for about 2 hours, around 8 to 8.15pm outpro. quite standard

nope, according to what I know, they wouldn't conduct a IPPT just for your sake if you are hoping to pass. heck if you miss that session which I did recently they don't even indicate on your slip you have to MUT for it.

hi on the 8 session on phase 1 is the IPPT, can i do make up on that session?

I missed my IPPT on the 8th session in phase 1. I called the centre and even checked with the PTI in person, both parties said to just continue on to phase 2. Dont need to do make up since there are no more phase 1 sessions left. I was at Bedok FCC by the way.

if i miss out the first session and went for the subsequent session 7 session, i will still have to make up for the first session right?

Ask u all a question on IPT. My friend's IPPT window starts on 13 Mar 09 to 13 Mar 10. He has yet to pass his IPPT on this window. He think he gonna fail but doesn't want to do RT, he wants to do IPT. Can he book IPT now?

IIRC, latest you can book IPT is 3-4mths before window close

yes...can book ipt in the 1st 9 months of your window...

yes. There is 2 ippts but the 1st ippt will not be counted even if you pass. It's used for SAF to gauge your performance before ipt. For eg, before ipt, your 2.4 timing is 13 mins but after ipt, become 12 mins. It's used as some sort of a report card to show that IPT actually works. Only the last session of ipt(ippt) will be counted.

i owe one MUT for my phase 1 RT at Maju FCC... Do i die die have to make up for it or can siam huh? Last yr when i go for my RT, i remember can miss 2 sessions w/o having to do MUT...

I currently owe 2 MUT for RT phase 2 (Maju), and Thurs is my final RT session, an IPPT
Since I have no hope of passing anyway, I'm considering to siam that last session also...
So I will "owe" 3 MUT for phase 2...wun get defaulted rite? (my unit very slack one...)

ok to clear the "air", you can "arguably missed up" to 3 sessions in RT phase 2. It wouldn't be a problem with the FCC, however your absence will be alerted to your unit. From what I understand, your unit will then decide whether to pursue the matter or not including charging the people involved. That is why some units cannot miss RT sessions or have to do makeup while others simply bochup. So whether to miss or not is entirely up to your own interpretations.
