IPPT, IPT & RT Questions...

anyone taking IPPT this wed at safra toa payoh? i'm sure to fail so i was wondering if i can just go there and opt to fail straighaway?

I can only pass sit up so no point anyway , prepared for RT already.

why didnt u take ipt since u already noe u will fail? save alot of hassle and time.

Just received a charged letter from MINDEF saying I didn't attempt any IPPT at all during my window. Really scared the hell outta me. Will there be a probability of them having a mistake? Cause I remembered clearly I did not just once but thrice IPPT, so there's no way there isn't any record of it.

I called them up and they asked me to wait for 3 working days for them to check it out. Any one knows of the punishment for first time offence? But I can really confirmed I did my IPPT, my record in ns.sg also shows my booking so should be able to use that as evidence for appeal right?

Check ns.sg for your ippt results. If have you can print and show it to them.
Btw, ns.sg shows your booking, but did you go for the test?
Got book + never show up = did not attempt

Yes...there is a probability of them making a mistake. But 3 times? Abit impossible.

1st time offence is normally only reprimand. Ns.com got your results? Bookings but no results = got book but never take.

Check ns.sg for your ippt results. If have you can print and show it to them.

Thanks guys for your replies. Now the only thing I suspect is I book the wrong IPPT. Cause I suddenly remember something about IPPT is that got 2 types, but I seriously don't understand which 2 types. 1 is what non-what IPPT then the other one is NS men IPPT or something. Maybe I booked the wrong one.

Sigh I should've kept my score recipts, now regret a bit too late... Just hope the punishment won't be too severe...

Even you do not have the result slip, the results should be shown on ns.com. Just click on check past ippt results, surely got 1 result there if you taken it 3 times.

Booking of IPPT online is only for Non-ICT IPPT. This type of IPPT is conducted at one of the 3 FCCs (Maju, Bedok and Khatib) and selected SAFRA.

The other type of IPPT is taken during your annual ICT. You don't need to book for this type of ICT IPPT, because it is automatically conduct by your unit during your annual ICT.

When you attempt any of these IPPT, all your scores are automatically updated in ns.sg which can be retrive/view/print once you login to ns.sg.

So how could you booked the wrong IPPT?

Hello bros, need some help here.

I fail my IPPT and require to book RT before 13th Aug 2009

When login into NS portal, it show me this

You are required to book a Remedial Training(RT) Schedule.
However, you cannot book now due to the following possible reasons:
1) You may have defaulted your previous RT schedule; or
2) There is no available RT slot within your RT window for booking

Please contact your NS unit immediately for a RT schedule or further clarification.

Alternate way is I called the number 1800 - 3676767 for booking RT Session but the location that i want, is not avaliable (no slot). The other 2 location is too far away from my work place or home.

Can i book 1 of the location first than change to the one that fav me???

What to do now?? anyone can help??? Dont even know who to call back to my Unit and ask.

i'm not very sure about this...coz I always go for weekdays 1...but I don't think so lah, coz this is a voluntary training...just check it out with the PTI to make sure...

1) Call your unit and see if they can do anything for you.
2) Book any schedule 1st, coz at the 1st session of RT, you are allow to change venue.

RT newbie here...

If say my window ends on August 20th, and I did not pass my IPPT. Which means I have to do my RT in the next window. Is there a limit as to when I need to complete my RT? Like before the 6th month or something? Cos I'm still in school, and I would prefer to do my RT during December.

Some EDMW folks told me that so long as I complete my RT 5 months before my next window (in 2010), that is okay? Is this information correct?
