Oh, that means the PPT1,2,3.. is for the first 10 sessions of IPT, if pass the requirements on the 10th session then I no need go the 8 RT sessions. Is that correct?

Yes, if u feel u can meet the ppt, can just book an non-ict ippt to do it.

Is the IPPT at first IPT session considered an annual IPPT attempt?

I went for the first IPT session months back (still during current window) and the first session was an IPPT test. It was the only IPT session I went. I want to know if I still need to book another seperate IPPT session just to clock an attempt.

I am not able to complete my IPT on time before window closes. I am afraid if I just wait for window to close (closing in 2 weeks) wait for RT, I will be charged for defaulting IPPT if the one during IPT is not counted.

Go check your ns.sg. It will say something like you have not passed your IPPT for the period bah bah bah. That means u have attempted your IPPT.

I believe once your window is closed, your results should be final. But can just check with the conducting officer during your ICT.

Q11 What happens if I have approval of absence from Remedial Training?

NSmen are advised to quickly book another RT session(s) to replace those training sessions missed. However, if they fail to turn-up for training for 3 consecutive RT sessions that is booked earlier, the remaining booked sessions will be canceled automatically and NSmen will be notified of the cancellation via SMS. NSmen who are not able to complete their RT obligations in the last 3 months of their birthday window will be deemed as “RT defaulters” and will be called up by their NS Unit/CDMB for investigation, and those without valid reasons will be disciplinary dealt with.

As long as u still can book, u can continue going. I will suggest not to book so many sessions at 1 go till u confirm u can go.

Yes, for RT, can extend another month to 3 months. For IPT, I know can extend but not sure how long.

highly unlikely IPT can extend, 9mths to do 10 session leh
