From the pic, you can see that the manufactured date of my scooba is 070427 or 2007 April 27! less than 3 months old...

my scooba also have the same packing but the empty spaces inside is lesser.

Scooba is bigger than a roomba becos of the tank.

Oh, i tried my scooba for the 1st time (using 1oz kiwi kleen green) and IT WORKS GREAT! my wife is very impressed. I cleaned my kitchen & 2 bathrooms, still hv charge to clean other area. gotta chg solution once. It runs quite fast! Tomorrow will clean living room. but cant charge battery now cost the converter is used by roomba! Will mod roomba charger 2moro night & see how...

Cool! All your scooba's and roomba's came almost the same time.. your 110-220V converter being used heavily now hehe..

So scooba can use kiwi kleen green. Any pic? Maybe I'll go get some too if it works

Of course it's tested. I used to sell Scoobas and Roombas to my customers previously. I have been recommending them to use KiwiKleen since day 1 they bought their Scoobas. Use the amount indicated and you are fine. Only KiwiKleen works, the rest is a no no due to their different chemical composition.

Found an earlier post by mozzilla... He sounded convincing enough (HE SOLD SCOOBA b4)

Thats a big difference compares to the scooba clorox. imagine $25/bottle vs $5/bottle hehe.. definately worth to chiong

U r wrong! 25/bottle is only for 32oz or about 915ml<1litre! VS 2 litre. But do not put too much, At first i tried 1oz, then 1.5oz (use the measuring cup), so far so good!

hahaha... its great to hv a forum to chat n we learn a lot!

btw, does kiwi kleen green smell like chlorine? I don't like this kind of smell.

No.. it is apple flavored!!! can try other flavour too... as it is a mild floor cleaner, it will not damage the floor! it is anti-bacterial too.. ha, sound like a salesman!

How do u go abt cleaning yr kitchen & 2 bathrooms? U let it finish the complete cycle in the kitchen, then refill and bring it to the 2 bathrooms? How long does it take to clean the kitchen & bathrooms for the 380?

Oyaa its even cheaper haha.. actually in the past month this thread has been pretty active.. seeing quite a lot ppl here order a lot of irobot products.

Can't wait to see the 4th generation roomba A lot of speculation that it will be much more intelligent and possibly empty the bin by itself

Emptying the bin by itself is great provided the filter system is redesigned, else the filter can still be easily clogged after 2-3 runs. However, thats quite some speculation cos the only bot that does this is Karcher RC3000 and it costs $2XXX

The scooba is, sadly, a 'chionger' too... as it doesnt know when to stop! Roomba can still be kept to end at 60min. Scooba will keep cleaning til the solution finished or get stuck somewhere! Mine got stuck to the drain hole in my bathroom n under the door! If you do not hear the noise, it is stuck or no more solution!

Heard tat the new generation scooba or roomba can remember where it cleaned b4 and do not need to repeat over n over again...

No lah, i mean it said "I'm stuck!", played some music n no news loh. - literally stuck. not out of juice!

The only time it said check tank was in my bathroom, which is quite bare!

Scooba works great. Totally black water from the dirty bin, HA HA HA. haven't been mopping for almost 1 year since I got roomba.

after cleaning the kitchen, when my wife saw the dirty water she was so surprised as she said she just mopped the kitchen earlier! I told her how can you compare a scooba which kept on spinning in the kitchen n you juz mopped once per area... Scooba cleaned vey well by repeating the cleaning cycle... not forgetting using clean water all the time, too.
