After reviewed both 415 and 555 ... i got the 555 with time scheduler.. really cool...

But 555 is european version of the new US 560 without LH. A little overprice though it comes with original 240V PSU.

...... weight still not updated sianz

btw, is there a new version like 580 coming up. i forgot to say that i am now stopping at the scooba first. i read 560 having some changes. cannot support lighthouses when i check irobot site. seem to be same for 550 too.

so i think i better stay put at the moment.
is it ok to see scooba as a vacuum too or its better to DIY first before letting the machine clean the floor. i am not sure if it will have lots of long hair inside....that might cause it to go hye wire later on. no pets though

Is there a showroom where I can see the vacuum?

I went to the large Courts in Tampines but couldn't find it there. I would like to know what type of wheels is on the vacuum.

From the pictures, it is not very clear, if it is the hard plastic, like those on office chairs, it shouldn't leave marks on my laminate, but if is rubberised, I'm afraid it'll start leaving marks.

It shouldn't leave any marks on your florring. The wheels are foam type material.

Hi, I am searching for a suitable scooba. According to the robotreview website,

340 is out of stock and they are selling 335. Do you know the difference between these 2 models? By the way HSN is offering the cheapest 335.

just-in. I believe the wheels are ok....but you might want to underdstand a little bit more how Scooba works. Pratically the robot leaves water on the floor and then sucks it back later. This was what stated in the iRobot website "Scooba is not for use with laminate flooring, which may be damaged by wet cleaning methods." Again, this is general remark from the company.

You might want to try out a portion of your floor first. Anyway, it is really up to you to determine and explore.

All scooba models except 5900 can use plain water.

Hi padatales. mosmos, thanks for your reply.

When you purchase 380, how can they give you another model?
Only 335 is availiable from HSN. I am thinking of using boerlinx concerige service to purchase from HSN.
One more question, are you using any solution for you 335?

HSN won't accept Borderlinx conseige service. You can try. I think IRobot already blacklisted Borderlinx.

:s22: that time was when you order 335/340, you will get 380. Just like sometimes you order 335, you many get 340. They will just give you a better one when they are not in stocks.

according to past forumer experience with concerige service, none success with hsn.com :(

i am using plain water, sometimes with abt 1 teaspoon local clorex, green bottle one. :s22:
