5800 is the equipment number for 330. 6000 is 350 & 6050 is 380.

The latest batch of 540 from woot also seems to have the same battery problem as yours. They had been sitting inside the robot for 3.5 years and some cells are already bad. I already had 4 cases coming to me.

I've been using non-invasive method to cycle battery using my computerised charger, as mentioned before in my post on:

Battery revival is very time-consuming, so I'll need more time plus also very busy. If non-invasive doesn't work, then it's time to slice & weed bad cells.

when do u know yr battery starts to die

is it the situation where it used to run ie 50mins, then a 40mins (2 cycles)

and then become a

50mins, then 20mins....(2 cycles)

or it will probably be 40min, 20mins. which one is making sense

btw......

my scooba 380 never finish 2 cycles. not even when i get my machine during the intiail usage. it always like left 1 fifth or so in the clean tank.

If I'm not wrong, this batch is all manufactured in year 2007. The battery is sitting inside for more than 3 years.

I claimed from irobot before for a scooba battery. The machine cant be from ebay (even 'new' set also cant). Must be from a retailer (woot is). Best is to say it is a gift.

Oh, dont ever try to use vp0st to ship. U will nvr get your batt. :s27:

can share how to make this claim? they never ask you send back? just send you another battery?

so did you request them to send to a freight forwarder? no questions asked from irobot?

Yup, recognise. Just pay shipping to get it back. It incurred extra cost for us overseas buyer but US citizen is free.

SG sold Clorox which u see from supermarket is a toilet cleaner bleaching agent, so PLS don't use that.
Clorox is just the company name, the actual solution is called Clorox Scooba Solution, which was specially formulated for Scooba. PH neutral, no bleach, low sud (ie. less foam).

Rule of thumb for Scooba: No bleach & no wax. Don't use on laminate floor.
Bonus attributes: PH neutral, low foam, less soapy

Many alt solution to use, my favourite is Kiwi Kleen. It's cheap, the large 3L value pack is only ~$5.5 (milky blue Superactive). It's less foamy & soapy.
Just DON'T use Kiwi Kleen OXY FORCE cos I'm sure it contains bleach (Oxidizing agent). I believe Mr Muscle & Easy Off Bang are too toxic for Scooba.

I've used Magiclean & I find it's more soapy than Kiwi Kleen milky blue, so Scooba may loose traction & skid when turning.
I use Sunshine D28 for marble floor, it's more ex.
I know a few Scooba owners using Dettol & Amway LOC Multi-Purpose Cleaner (organic), don't ask where to buy LOC cos I oso dunno, maybe online.

What about the kiwi kleen with anti bacterial? Issit safe for use on scooba?

So android, the anti-bacterial one u mentioned is fine.
