I leave it for you to decide whom you're going to purchase from but if you read carefully, I would say that only Uno and me is doing more of repair jobs than others. Checkout other sellers whom simply get the modified charger directly and do not even knows how to do it themselves, do you trust them in aftersales?

I will be supplying roomba with the original 110-240V charger in a few weeks time & not the 110V modified one if you wish to wait.

Whatever your decision is, remember iRobot is the pioneer batch of all this robotic vacuum, they know everything about vacuuming your home but there are always competitors whom can come out with something to knock it out but iRobot seems to be the one ruling the world right now because of its reliability and quality!

Just like how many iPad killer fail to kill the iPad!!

I have used Roomba since the Pro series, Roomba clones, Cleanmate, RV-10, etc. etc. Nothing beats the Neato at this moment when it comes to consistency (navigation... making sure all areas are covered) and ease of maintenance. In addition, the Neato is very well made (quality of material, belt driven, etc.). Its not perfect but amongst all the existing bots, IMHO its the best.

I would say Neato is better in terms of technology but the failure rate is simply too high. You will be lucky if it last u 6-12 months without problems. There are many cases where it breaks down after only 2 use. Parts is a problem to source for neato but roomba is readily available.

Should you decide to go with Neato, I have every parts available from the rps sensors, brush motors, vacuum motors right even to a small brush bushing. I stock everything necessry for aftersales repair.

I believe the issues with Neato are largely related to the earlier revisions. From rev 113, its been pretty ok. I've been using it daily for 6 months and its very reliable. When u refer to the high failure rate, what numbers are u talking about? Which ver and what fault? Many cases breaking down after only 2 use???? Forgive me for being sceptical because if this is indeed true, i think Neato will have their hands full dealing with legal law suits, especially in US. The XV11 is far from being perfect, neither is the Roomba or any other robotic cleaners in the market at this moment. If u prep the place properly and use it as intended, i would say that its as reliable (if not more so) than a Roomba.

Till date I had sold about 50+ neato and the failure rate is more than 20% and I would say it is very high comparing to 600+ roomba sold with only 8(less than 1%) with fault.

All my neato is rev 113. Even this has the RPS error. The major problem is broken spring in the wheel well. The structure is simply too weak. If I am not able to get the RPS sensor I would have given up hope on selling this robot.

That's why I said you'll be lucky if it last you 6-12 months. You're keen on the HEPA filter mod too?

There are many users with rev 113 that did not experience RPS errors. We must not confuse a dirty LIDAR sensor with a genuine RPS error. Cleaning/blowing off the dirt fixes a dirty sensor but not RPS errors.


Looks like u've got a pretty good sales turnover. The official local dealer would have to take his hats off to u... maybe u should approach the respective manufacturers for an offical dealership instead.


The HEPA mod is nice to have but not a must have for me. Its a pity Neato decides to monitor airflow (current firmware) since a freer flowing air filter will trigger an error.

It really depends on your personality, roomba will be a more reliable set but neato will be a better choice if you like high technology!!

What juboo say is very true, failure or breakdown rate is much higher for neato. But one thing I'm sure is usually error usually occur in the first few months where it under warranty. So if there are no manufacturing problem, the set will usually last longer.

Hi gara, quality is definitely similar because I believe they are made in China from the same factory. As for buying from Gmarket, the only risk you will take is there isn't any after sales support unless they are located locally. Ackerman does not cover warranty of irobot not purchase from them so do make your choice wisely.

Price wise, its relatively ok if you are asking me. Sets sold by them are without scheduling function and trust me, you will need the scheduling function! It really helps.

I agree with jubooo saying the spring in the wheel is giving problem that is why we are providing free repair for neato wheel spring if set is under warranty period.

Neato has been having some very good review from our customers so rest assured if anyone are interested in Neato sets

Impressive sales figure, I think maybe beat the sales of the AD leh ... Agree w Wiseone bro, consider taking over the dealership when it expires. You will do a better job.
