Thanks, I was worried it will commit suicide inside toilet.

Btw, I can see that you are selling 530 and 560. What the difference between them? I wanted to get something that can clean my small 4 room flat only.

Do take note some of his model are remanufacture not brand new

Doesn't matter one lo. My remanufactured sets still works great. a lot of my remanufactured electronic goods also working well.

V true, anyway if you PI items from US, most of it wld already not be covered under warranty, so I rather pay less than what AD is charging as the cost of warranty and new is already factor into the price are paying, as long as I am assured that the person I am buying from know how to fix the problem, if any. ;)

Anyone carry their scooba by the handle? Be careful - it seems to become brittle and breaks eventually.

Good thing is that it is covered under iRobot warranty... :)

Yeah, I specifically hunted around for the cheapest remanufactured roomba too... :)

Pros:
- It was the previous gen, which came with a pair of lighthouses
- IIRC, it actually comes with 90 days warranty
- It works just as well, except maybe the battery is older and needs to replace sooner (mine lasted a year)
- Saves quite a fair bit of dough... :)

I always carry it by handle, the 1st tank handle broke within a yr, this current replacement tank is ok so far. I do agree that shd try to avoid holding by handle. ;)

Non-original batteries can vary in quality, purely becos there's no QC.

It can be as good as original iRobot battery (if u're very lucky), or so terrible it shows low power Orange light even when new & fully charged (if u're very unlucky). Most of the time, it's somewhere in between.

Lifespan wise, hard to compare cos to compare Apple-to-Apple, means u must have 2 robots and use them exactly the same way.

Should u be unlucky & get a defective or under-performing battery, u can look for me to repair it. My email is unobliss@yahoo.com, or just PM me.

Yeap, i buy mine mostly via ebay, it's a bit of hit and miss but i can do with the savings off the original. Generally, I feel roomba batt give less prob than scooba batts. ;)
