That's very nice. How durable is the thing? I mean how long b4 u need to change those parts like brushes / containers? oh yea, hw abt the default warranty?

If u do not feel comfortable about warranty terms & durability, u can always look for me if all else fail.
I've been selling iRobot since Aug 2008, if I couldn't support my long time customers & the repair jobs they refer to me, I would have closed shop by now.

I've actually had my Scooba for less than a month... From what I read these machines can last, there's someone who has theirs for more than 04 years... Only thing is the battery... From what I read you need to change the battery every 1-2 years depending on usage... But with a couple of sellers here you will not have a problem and if all else fails there's always eBay...

For Scooba battery, be warned that non-originals is a big gamble. I've never came across any one who tells me 3rd party Scooba battery lasts as long in running time & lifespan as compared with original. Not even those rated 4500 mAh or 4800 mAh (considering originals are 4100 mAh).

Don't believe the spec that 3rd party batteries claim. They may say 1 yr warranty or whatever, but some can screw up within 3 mths. Original Scooba batteries seldom disappoint, although there are cases where the thermal sensor embedded inside goes shorted prematurely, a shorted thermal sensor will feedback to Scooba that the battery is too cold to be charged (eg. trying to charge in North Pole).
In such cases, an immediate Charging Error is reported. And unless u know how to replace the thermal sensor, else it's bye bye battery.

I've repaired a few such cases so far. A Swiss Army knife & hammer, plus some frickin' patience is required.

That is good news. Will you be able to match the price on the gmarket? I can't decide as the is quite a bit of saving there.... :s8:

Hi, The latest LG Roboking VR6270LVM (red with turbo) is $988 and LG Roboking VR6260LVM (black) is $858. Sorry Prices are as competitive as it gets, as warranty for service and repairs are covered comprehensively locally.
You properly would not be able to get any support, diagnostics or repairs for these models locally even from LG here and shipping the Robot Back and forth to Korea would properly cost in excess of any savings incurred. Turn around time would properly take 4 weeks and you would be without the Robot for 1 month, guessing if it is ever going to come back, provided they even coordinate repairs or returns in English. We do provide on-site repairs and servicing where we send a technician to your preferred location and repair it "on-the-spot". Am pretty sure its going to be unlikely you can get that support anywhere else.
The Robots do sometimes arrive dead on arrival and you would have to ship it back even before use. Anyway, Many thanks for the interest in the LG Roboking, Great Choice!! . :)

Exactly, this was what I was worried about. I rather pay a bit more for the peace of mind and extra support. ;) ;)

Hi, The LG Roboking VR6270LVM (red, $988) has a function which allows it to activate its "turbo mode" automatically when it cleans carpets and rugs. The LG Roboking VR6260LVM (black, $858) has a turbo mode too which can be activated manual with a click of a button. Both the Latest LG Roboking models have exacting parts and specifications, comes with systematic navigation and dual side brush with square design for better coverage. Many thanks for the interest.

mosmos, so good to see u back at this thread! I think that Samsung is a really gone case robovac, so they must be clearing old stocks. :)

Correct, thats a new model but sadly, the new model's performance leaves much room for improvement as well. :s8:
For Korean bots, IMO the LG and the iClebo are better choices.
