The scooba is similar.. but gotta change 100uF cap instead.. and its hugeee! It is so tall.. definately need to bend it parallel to the board :D

Have u tried getting it from gkrobots? Or maybe we can have a MO for scooba solution since there are quite a few scooba users :s8:

I bought the 100uf, it is huge! Anyway, after seeing mosmos using the newstar & no problem, i went to SLT & bought 1 for 20 bucks. So, i will be using the step-down instead. Will probably mod when the mood arrives as scooba is costlier! Anyway, still waiting for my scooba to arrive. The USPS shipping is very slow... (shipped direct fr us cost me US100+ :s31: ).

Ha... same situation as mi! I bought 3 items (discovery + spare parts) fr 3 diff ebay bids * they arrived at vpus on 11, 16, & 18/7. I made my payment to vpost for 1 consolidated shipment. Now the status are:

Item 1 & 2: Date & Time : 21/07/2007 11:21 AM
Status : Handover from Processing to Distributions Operations
Item 3: Date & Time : 18/07/2007 10:26 PM
Status : Processed in U.S.A/Japan

WTH??? 3 items, diff status! I thot all shld be same status? I check every day since 21. still same status!!!

So, the only thing to do is WAIT! :s8:

My scooba is shipped direct. The USPS status also never update since 16/7. The current status still shows:

Status: International Dispatch

Your item left the United States from N. J. BULK at 5:43 PM on July 16, 2007. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Vpost really should do something about their service. Submitted my invoice and emailed them twice, its now the 4th day and yet they have not updated their system to reflect the incoming delivery. Very very poor and slow service. The last time I had a delivery sent to Vpost USA, the package was sitting at their collection centre for 2 days b4 they realised it!!!

ktee, for yr Scooba shipped via USPS, dont bother abt the USPS online tracking (wonder if they ever update it). If yrs is sent via Std International Priority USPS and u r sure its been sent out on 16/7, u should be getting yr Scooba either today or tomorrow latest. I have been using USPS, delivery service is always prompt, never later than 7 business days.

My 3 items total weight is 9.6kg. After the UOB discount, it cost me ~S$89 for vpost shipping. (as my items are less than 400, no gst).

Glad to hear tat about USPS. They never update their online tracking :s27: hope to receive my scooba by tomorrow. =:p

VPOST vomits blood. I sent them many invoices as they kept asking... I even hv an extra invoice to be matched with my item (fact is all my items are there)! :s22:

I'm suppose to get UOB discount.. but vpost say UOB corporate card cannot use.. *sigh* so i paid normally.. worse thing is.. after pay found out from here there is promo code even for using other credit card:s34:

Next time if i ship i will use USPS dun care pay more.. vpost service really really terrible

mosmos, u go to vpost & check the past order. 12.4kg cld be ur total weight! Ur box looks big but cant be 12.4kg vol wgt.

BTW, mine is 22cm height, so it cant be a CRT box as i dont see any CRT which is so small. unless it is a 7" monitor!!! :s13:

Ha... if you bid for 5800 at ebay, you hv to pay around us220 n still need to PRAY tat it is as advertised! :s8:
