I got my new 560 from USA when I was travelling there. 3 weeks now. The new roomba is quieter but I don't think it is better than my roomba Sage. The tentacle of the side brush started to drop off one by one. There are 6, now 2 gone...i think the rest will drop off soon. My 560 also go over cliff and fell at times. I think I rather stick to the old roomba...

It looks better though..

No leh. I forgot to buy additional side brush. But you see, even I replace it, it will not solve the problem. How many can I change a year? :s22:

It's bad. There are pictures here if u want to see how it looks :s22: Be prepared to buy replacement brushes.

Side Brush Broken Off

There are other problems such as friction causing plastic parts to melt.

One on mine just broke off. I emailed irobot about the issue and they say they will send replacements for the side brush as well as the internal brush (rattling issue) but the side brush is currently out of stock.

$399, is it considered expensive or cheap?
:o cost SGD$99 more than woot.com roomba discovery.

but save the trouble of getting a transformer adapter, no warranty + dealing with vpost/comgateway.

I've checked around on the Internet, seems like this model does not come with the docking station for self charging. I'd prefer the discovery series with docking station. :) But the warranty & local power supply is a good thing for those who dun mind.

Just received my Roomba 560 and Scooba 5800 too. For those who want to know the invoicing weight from Comgateway,

Roomba 560: 12.1 kgs
Scooba 5800: 7.2 kgs

I have not received my invoice yet, but these weights were indicated in my consignment note. hope that i don't kenna the problem of the "falling side brushes" after my 1st run

Hi, am sure glad I found this site. Well, having deligently read this post from end to end, i decided to buy from irobot but came up with some problem.First, i couldn't access the 10 percent discount .OK, I overcome this obstacle by recommending some friends. Then, i was notified twice thru e mail that my order couldn't be processed even though i've managed to complete the purchase on line.i suspect it is my paying with a foreign ie non US card.Contemplated using the google check out, but then i would lose the 10 percent. For those who have purchased from Irobot before, can u please help? Thanks.
