this kind of stupid thing got no market in SG , please.....

you go do a statistics on how many people actually own this kind of toy lor....

eh... my meaning of discount is don't mark up so high... cos being a distributor you need to stock a min qty from your Principle. It's two type of scenario, either you earn lesser or you get stuck with obselete stocks.... which means your stocks aka cash is not flowing...

as for stupid thing that has no market in SG, ya true... maybe there is no market now... but based on the hectic life in SG, who knows it will pick up sales if it is given more exposure... i think alot of people don't know about such product exist...

anyway just my brief POV...

Please, people need to make a profit in order for a business to survive. If no profit, what's the point?

no time to clean the house? maybe you shall drop by OG and have some Auntie-Uncle roadshow. < $20 can get you something from Japan to clean your close within 10mins easily....

I bought the Scooba coz no matter how I mop, my floor is still sticky......just want to see if it's more effective....

btw, for your scooba, wats u put in the water? wats your floor type? cos i notice some brands of floor cleaning liquid after mop will get sticky if I did not mop the floor with clean water again... (I using manual Mop)...

Well it is their business so they want to run it anyhow up to them no point for us to talk too much also. End of the day just a waste of time.

OK as for the scooba liquid, there are a few that we can find in SG e.g. kiwi kleen blue, magicclean, and I saw in roombareview someone use Ajax also no issue

Hi just want to share my experience on using comgateway in December. Overall the whole process is quite smooth to me and I think that is quite a good service

5-December - Sign up on ComGateway website with my HSBC card

6-December - Ordered the irobot from irobot store (through the intructions in comgateway) and paid using google check out. After payment I added the purchase detail into comgateway.

By using google checkout, I tracked the shipping status through the google checkout page. There wasn't any purchase history in irobot store but I didn't care about that cos I could get the status from google checkout.

9-December - Got the FedEx tracking code from google checkout

17-December - Due to weather delay, the items finally arrived at comgateway office today

18-December - Without any email to comgateway, they emailed me that they have received my package and will be delivered to me

23-December - Packages received at my doorstep by DHL. I also paid the GST charges to DHL

28-December - comgateway debited the shipping charges to my HSBC card today and send a summary to me by email

this toy "to so called stupid thing, but I think I love to play with stupid things" is a gadget. It's not so easy to use, you still need to fill it up, let it run, and then change water blah blah blah, i think it's more troublesome compared to basic mopping....unless you love to play with gadget, you won't like it at all.....especially most gals....I just got scolded by my girl after I told her I bought this scooba....sigh....

Usually this kind of gadget may survive with high price only with 2 reasons. Either a part timer distributor is doing it or a distributor whose main business is not on this. So as long as it's breaking even, with the high profit margin for low volume, they dun care. You won't become a millionaire by selling such thing, and it could be worse than your daily 9-6pm job. hee.....

I haven't received it yet lar.....i got 2 types of flooring, 1 is tiles, for kitchen and living room, laminate flooring for all rooms and corridor. diff cleaning solution for both. They are very clean right after the mopping, but 1 day later, it will become sticky again. My place is quite windy, so that could be one of the reason.....although I'm already staying at very high floor...

i would recommend modding the power adapter. as mentioned before, using transformer there would be addition wastage in term of heat generated when stepping down. once modded, you dont have to worry about transformer burning out.

Hmm then I think she prefer sweating and using strength to mop the floor. Well if you dont find mopping floor troublesome I dont understand what so troublesome to just change some water and then let it run again... all these scooba changing and cleaning wont even let you drop 1 drop of sweat.

The reason why robots are better than manual job is because u can run it over n over again,eg u could run the scooba three times a day,so it is definitely more time n energy efficient than doing it urself.I haven't got my scooba or roomba yet, as my second order got delayed in US, , but from my experience with the one n only Trilobite i have now, a robot is definitely worth the while.We have a big place, so i basically run the robot 4-5 times a day to cover the whole place,these things run on schedule n are very dependable, our house is spick n span, not one bit of dust, n mind u,we live right in front of a busy road.

for roomba you can get a notebook adapter, same plug but no so sure whether it will have enough power.

For scooba plug is special.

he is talking about those universal laptop plug. Those 3rd party one which come with various plug. But this one only work with roomba 4xx series only.

For scooba and roomba 5xx the universal laptop plug wont work.
