OMG ... my shipping for 1 scooba + 1 roomba + extra brush set + replenish set = S$340 (incl of GST) after applying the UOB discount

i got comgateway to deliver a scooba 380, scooba 5800 and a roomba(free gift) and it cost me $213 (incl gst)..

that's strange, in December I ship a 1 scooba + 1 roomba + 1 extra replenish set + 1 scooba storage stand, via CGW and total charge is only S$53 after a S$20 dollar discount? is the difference because of the box size?

So sad.. I just found out that atomicdeals.com is selling refurb schedulers at USD105. I just wooted a roomba scheduler with intellibin, now shipping to comgateway. Wonder how much the comgateway shipping will cost.

Anyway, those that missed the woot offer, here's your chance! Apparently atomicdeals.com works on the same concept as woot, so the offer's limited!

go to their website to signup. Only have a certain credit card can signup.

There's discount for HSBC card holders, but not sure how it works.

inside cgw website, there's no column to enter any discount code. All bills will be automatically charge to that registered credit card.

If the amt does not exceed, i heard it's usd$200, no gst will be charged.

alright, just signed up comgateway, but I can't find the "unique US address" mentioned anywhere from the complex website.

just found out the estimation can be calculated in this way:
Min 1st kg - US$14.00
Subsequent per half kg or part thereof - US$2.00
Volumetric Weight (in Kg)
= [width(cm) X height(cm) X length(cm)] / 6000

that's at least 20% cheaper on the scooba I bought, after vpost's discounts. If without discounts, walao eh.....

think I shall stick to comgateway then....

earlier i tested my scooba with sofix laminating care solution to clean my laminating flooring! everything turn to be fine, the floor was rather wet but i used a fan to blow dry. the after clean feel was great.

May I ask what was your package dimension?

Mine is as follows :

Volmetric Weight : 30.6 kg
Actual Weight : 15.1 kg
Dimension : 77.0X 45.0X 53.0 cm

So I guess :

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]$13.24 +[/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]$9.16 per kg* thereafter.
*based on volumetric weight@ or actual weight whichever is higher[/FONT]


13.24 + (9.16 x 29.6kg) = S$284.38
GST = abt S$80

do you think they made a mistake? or has the packaging changed?

only consolation is that the scooba here costs alot so still comes up cheaper.

As this is my first such transcation, can anyone advise me what to do next? I think i need to match my order to Vpost right?

1. Yes, they will bill you. But sometimes they have problems matching your invoice with parcel, so you can inform them.

2. just email a screenshot from google checkout. Make sure when it's shipped out then email them. Else if the order cancelled, then you will have to email vpost to cancel it.
