Hi guys,

Whats the difference between the Roomba and the Scoomba? And since iRobot doesn't ship outside SG, what other shipping methods can I use? How do I go about using other shipping methods?

No mistake. Juz chk w irobot site and wat mosmos said is true.

But, why pay tat price when you can get 5xx series for a few dollars more? wait for woot to get the 100+ reman. 4xx series.

getting spare battery + brushes maybe a problem for other brands.

Ya...roomba more widely discussed and spares are plenty.

Not to mention that Roomba repairs can be done DIY with tear down and documention available on the web. If u go for other brands, apart from the lack of distributor/retailer here (Cleanmate exception), u r on your own since such DIY repair info is not available on the web AFAIK. Stick to Roomba or if u have the $$$, get the Karcher or Electrolux.

woot.com mostly sell 4xx series + remanufactured scooba + 510.

you won't have chance to get 560 there

roomba battery are same size + shape within same series, maybe diff capacity only.

416 is very old model, later models all use fast charger.

yes, 510 is basic model, can't use self-charging base also.

for woot.com, it would be better to get roomba 4xx or scooba.
