I bought my scooba from LNT. If there is really something wrong with my set and my brother is gng to the States in early Dec, can LNT give me a full refund if my brother brings it back to the store personally?

read ur Scooba ran 35 min initially and mosmos advised to run a few cycles to eventually get 40-50min? Did it?

Mine ran exactly 30min past 3 or 4 times I tried, and didn't look like it finished drying up itself? 1st time the clean tank still filled, subsequent times the clean tank emptied.

I don't suppose I should take batt out and press power etc to recondition?

let me try if can recall, becos i seldom pay too much attention for gifts under 10 bucks for my family, especially if i see they dont work too well either..what struck me then was so mcuh hooha over this 'thingy'

if i buy expensive gift every time i go their house i will bankrupt one.

last time they went to my house to play with the duster and they quite like it, if not for the expensive delivery from usa, they would have get it also.

next time i recall the place, or if i happen again, i will buy a couple standby can, that thot did briefly flash by me, but i didnt know theres a market for this, if i know better, i hoot a box liao dont worry i will sell them cost to cost becos i worry more about after sales complains!

anyway i saw the demo it didnt really look like it can catch dust effectively, i mean does it SPIN them up in the air like a tornado instead..is the static power really er..power? but i do see one useful part, if it can really reach funny places or funny angles, then spinning the dust away from those funny corners, so that they land somewhere else that they could be sucked or clean up is still not a bad idea, better than they sit where they are, unreachable, perpetually and i am sure everyone has a number of those dust infested corners thats 'beckoning to them'

my main use is not to suck any dust but to sweep off dust from difficult to reach areas.

actaully those are my initial thots, but what held me back was i find the handle a tat too short liao, and also its abit weighted

comgateway delivered my hsn.com scooba 340 yesterday, was by DHL.

But when I opened the box, i saw the battery was light blue which was non-APS. So further checked scooba inside barcode label model was 335.

Email hsn yesterday night and they replied me within 2-3hrs. Gave me 2 option, return for refund or usd$20 discount.

So I choose option 2, now my scooba cost only $179.96 now.

nowadays scooba don't include any pump?

btw hsn.com now list scooba as 335 instead of 340. No more selling of 340 now.

in hsn.com billing address, just fill in yr whole sg address including postal code in address line 1 or 2.

then the zipcode + state put comgateway USA address one

hey mosmos ... i tried your method but it still showed CC decline. I also called up citibank and was informed that the amount was approved on citibank side by on hsn.com it still showed CC decline. Was wondering if it will ever get shipped or billed to me w/o a shipment. Did that happen to your order as well? thanks.

nope, did not see any error msg after order. But have to wait a few days for confirmation email.

I charged Scooba and left it unused (disconnected from power) for 2 days... today I tried to power it up, it worked for only 5 min! Now trying to "recondition" battery, ie. remove batt, press power 30secs, reinsert batt and charge directly for 72hrs. Is that right?

People who don't use Scooba daily, do you leave it charging continuously? Or charge full, then remove battery after?

I didn't time my Roomba, it self-docks when done in the small bedroom.

i don't use my scooba one weekends. Nothing had happened to the battery. but my battery is not inside scooba.

I don't charge scooba for 24/7. I use external charger, only charge battery for 3.5hrs.

Since u are not using your Scooba daily, this is what i'll do (assuming u do not have an external battery charger):

1) Charge battery inside Scooba for 3.5hrs or until the battery charging indicator remains lit instead of pulsing.

2) Remove battery from Scooba (if u leave the battery inside Scooba, the battery will start to deplete as Scooba still draws current even if its switched off).

3) Put battery in Scooba just before u need to use it.

The above procedure should be fine if u intend to use Scooba on alternate days or so. If the interval between usage is much longer, then u'll need to charge the battery again before a new run.

I hope it revives after the 72hr reconditioning. It was stressful when it worked only 5min, the Other Half was reprimanding me for buying products with known battery and other issues... *sigh*
